It’s just that the sheeple do not think a mere “congressman” is “qualified” for the “presidency”.

That’s got to be a joke. If that happened it would turn my political world upside down. I’d have to do the political equivalent of joining a monastary—vote Libertarian. lol

No.
They have a lot in common:
evangelism, Fair Tax, trade protection, abortion, No Amnesty pledge, Minute Man project support.

More speculation is that he will go as a third party candidate and invite Fred Thompson to be his running mate--yes, The Hunter-Thompson ticket! (JOKE)

I wish that Duncan Hunter had dropped out and endorsed Thompson a while back. Hunter is a fine man, but was never a viable candidate.

You’re right.
Hunter and his supporters are what prevented conservatives from rallying around Thompson unanimously.
Unfortunately Hunter has had his own motives, and was never interested in helping conservatives regain control of the GOP.

That congressman has more background than Mitt & Huckester to lead us in the WOT.
Those two might be fine for pres. of PTA but not the U.S.

Good thing you wern’t around during Lincoln’s time, He was a mere Congressmen with no college degree when he became President.

After 28 years in Congress, Hunter will throw his endorsement after another legislator, and that would be McCain or Thompson. But...we don’t dare mention ‘conservative.’

Since Fred is out as he lost to Ron Paul in Nevada, and South Carolina did not befriend him, Duncan is in a dilemma.

Oh I am sick of hearing the *viable candidate* CRAPOLA! If all the Fred-heads had stuck with Hunter instead of wasting time and money nursing a lukewarm guy who was (is) a stalking horse for McCommie, then we might have attracted the true conservative base and beat back the bias of the MSN. Instead, we*ve lost the best man and have the devil to pay next Nov. Our hope here in CA is that Hunter just might run for governor and win.

You’ll vote for Ron Paul?

Hunter supporters got to experience what Tancredo supporters did a month ago. Soon, Thompson supporters will also taste disappointment. There will be nowhere left to go.

Not any dilemma, he doesn*t have to endorse anybody. Why should he back any one of the pretenders and liars we have left? God bless him.

Ron Paul isn’t the Libertarian candidate—yet. And, I was only kidding. I’m writing in Hunter. If Thompson drops out, I don’t think there’s anyone left that I can vote for without leaving my principles outside the voting booth first.

So where are you Duncan Hunter supporters going?
As I’ve suspected all along, it looks like you’re going to *uckabee.

This is all one big “See I Told You So.”

Exactly. Hunter entered the race early. Many, many months later Fred showed up a little after the Huckester.

Tancredo entered the campaign way later than Hunter to take votes from Hunter and take credit for the Hunter’s work on the border and fence.

“Republican presidential candidate Duncan Hunter will drop out of the race for the White House Saturday, FOX News confirms.”

In other news, the sky is blue and the sun rises in the east.

Sarcasm aside, as mentioned previously, Hunter should have dropped out weeks ago. He could have thrown his weight behind Fred and possibly have made a difference.

An endorsement of Huckabee is laughable, though I imagine this would quiet down the Hunter supporters.

Time to circle around McCain and help him beat Hillary.
