AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

IMO, Thompson was the genuine article who just couldn't get his campaign off the ground/ran an ineffectual campaign. With Romney he sounds the most Conservative now but I still think people have misgivings as to whether he truly is a Reagan Conservative.

For me he's always come across as someone very programmed, checking off all the boxes he needs to in order to give the appearance of having all three legs to the stool. Whatever he needs to say to please fiscal, social and national security Conservatives.

Ron Paul will never be elected, but his stances on fiscal conservatism are good and well thought out. Foreign relations? Well no one’s perfect.

You just condemned us to 4 years of president Hillary Clinton.

Do you want that?

I will vote for McCain if I don’t have another choice.

But, will I contribute to McCain’s campaign?

Not one cent.

However, 59 days before the general election, I will contribute $1,000 to any Conservative non-profit issue organization that has endorsed McCain.

I will send McCain’s campaign a copy of the check.

reminds me of an old genetic experiment where a scientist tried to create a radish / cabbage hybrid. The goal was to have a 100% useable plant with an edible root and edible leaves.

The actual outcome was a plant with the two unusable portions. The roots ofthe cabbage and the leaves of the radish.

McCain creates the worst of the republicans with none of the virtues of a blue dog democat.

BTW Notice how the MSM did not report on Maine. Nor is the
MSM even hiding their push poll presentations.

From MSNBC:

With rising poll numbers in California, Romney feels like a resurgent candidate. Similar to Obama in New Hampshire after his Iowa win when he said if he won the Granite State, he’d win the White House, Romney said to reporters here today, “If I win California, that means you’re going to have a conservative in the White House.”

not likely.
Exposing Hillary’s Illegalities In Los Angeles Court To Begin Feb. 21!
The Hillary Clinton Accountability Project will shortly launch its fundraising drive to raise $500,000 to support the most important citizen’s legal initiative of 2008. The landmark civil fraud suit of Paul v Clinton et al which the California Supreme Court ordered to proceed against the Clintons, Grammys Producer Gary Smith and Clinton agent Jim Levin, will be set for trial and a discovery schedule at a special conference to be held in Los Angeles Superior Court on February 21, 2008.

The first law suit in American history to bring a President and a Senator to court for defrauding the Senator’s largest campaign donor and his public company will be set for trial and discovery at the Case Management Conference before Judge Munoz. Discovery and depositions of key witnesses, including the Clinton family, Al Gore, Ed Rendell, Terry McAuliffe, Harold Ickes, Howard Wolfson, Kelly Craighead, Barbara Streisand, Brad Pitt, Larry King, Mike Wallace among an array of political and entertainment leaders, will present an inside look at a culture of corruption that will shock the public.

Say what u want about Mitt, but one thing is for sure: he’s the only horse left for the conservatives to ride, he might not be the picture perfect conservative stallion, but he’s our guy and we’re gonna have to ride him like he’s Seabiscuit.

LOL.

A vote for Romney is not solving the problem, IMO. I'm sick of voting for moderates or semi-Conservatives because they're marginally better than the other guy. The GOP never got behind a strong Conservative like Thompson or Hunter. Back 6-8 months ago the establishment Conservative media (and some in talk radio) were pushing Guiliani down our throats. He's the only one who can beat Clinton, he says he'll appoint judges like Roberts and Alito. Blah blah blah. Not once did anyone really get behind a true Conservative. Only now are some getting behind Romney because he's not McCain or Huckabee.
