Agreed. There's a reason that the numbers are late from certain Parishes.
every little bit helps
Imagine the ego breaker for McCain if Huck has a clean sweep..
Jefferson Parish:
McCain leading Huckabee by 1,249 votes with about half the parish in. This is suburban New Orleans. That alone won’t do it for McCain. But it helps keep Huckabee below 50%.
Most of EBR is still out, and they seem to be putting up big numbers for McCain. Orleans is out as well.

It wouldn’t surprise me at this point for McCain to win. East Baton Rouge, Jefferson, and Orleans Parishes have held back enough votes to make it happen.
Yeah, though Orleans isn’t showing a lot of Republican votes at all, with 126 out of 442 precincts in. McCain has 884 to Huckabee’s 304 votes so far.
McCain failed to carry Calcasieu with it’s petrochemical unions. But he did get Avoyelles. Hummmmm
Huckabee carried Livingston almost 2:1 over McCain but Tangiaphoa next door by only 327 votes.
I don’t see the Rockefeller side of St. Tammany coming in yet. McCain will get Covington/Mandeville. I think Huckabee should play well in Metarie and the West Bank of Jefferson.
Orleans has never been a Republican stronghold, but Jefferson and EBR should be enough to do the job for McCain.
Check out the Democrat Parish numbers. Livingston looks like the Clintons counted the votes themselves.
Don’t rule out North Louisiana.
A lot of vote left to be counted in Bossier and Caddo and Huckabee is doing well in those parishes.

I believe that would be the case, but it won't happen because Huck can't get over half with the precincts that are remaining. Bret Baer on FoxNews was just saying that if the winner gets less than 50%, the delegates will go to the convention uncommitted. That doesn't sound right ... I'll try to find some other information.
Wow .. amazing that FNC can’t call
the winner in LA and WA, it’s that
close.
Fox even saying may not be able to call WA until tomorrow...
