Berkeley Support The Troops Rally (Eagles Up, GOE, Free Republic, PGR, Melanie Morgan)

Saturday EaglesUp organized a Support The Troops Rally in Berkeley, CA on the street in front of the Marine Recruiting Office (Officially The Marine Corps Officer Selection Office)

Melanie Morgan gave a great speech and Diane Nagy sang patriotic songs.

There were several Gold Star Family members present, and one Gold Star Mother gave a moving speech

Jim Robinson-the creator of Free Republic- was there with his wife and one of his sons.

Several hundered came by Motorcycle after meeting down the road in Emeryville.

It was a great rally with a fantastic enthusiastic Patrioic American Military Loving crowd.

This lady passed out a bunch of American Flags

Gold Star Father Mark Crowley was there with his wife. This is one cool guy, he traveled part way on one of the MAF caravans and shows up at almost all of the events to support the troops.

That is awesome Diva Singer Diane Nagy on the left. She belts out some powerful Patriotic Songs.

Does it surprise anyone else like me that none of the motorcycles weren't either ticketed or towed away by the city of Bezerkley??

Great seeing Melanie Morgan again. Since KSFO in San Francisco canned her, I haven't heard much from her.

At one point Mel pointed (redundant I know) to across the street.


She was pointing at the fairies on bikes


They were swarming around the trash cans like flies.

I wish I had a better picture of this truck. I think it's a 1956 or so Chevy.

It had four flags on it, an American Flag and I believe the other 3 were of various branches of our Military
Behind that was a pickup with a sound system on it that a Patriot brought for the event. He is a neat guy, he bought the equipment and one of his sons ran it.

When Gold Star Father Mike Anderson, Sr. (Who's son Mike Anderson, Jr. was KIA in Iraq), Melanie greeted him warmly. They have been at many events together.

She gave a very heartfelt speech supporting out Military and their mission.

I'm always impressed by people that have real cameras.

We asked her who she represented, and which side she supported. (Because there were about 40 code pink, world can't wait and various other communist anti-Americans there)

She said she was just documenting the event, and wouldn't say any more.

Well, except to say she was from Pinch Me Media or something like that.

She said she didn't have a card, but she could leave a mark...I passed on that.

The Berkeley anti-American guy was only interested in communicating with her chest. I guess he doesn't know what ears are for.

I believe the one you were thinking of was this one, taken in Crawford in '05 or so.

It worked well for infiltrating Sheehan and Fonda events, and driving the clowns crazy.
