PUMA’s are voting for McCain. They are devoted Hillary fans. PUMA’s read this site. Don’t be an a$$. They’re joining us to get rid of the nutcase. I’m sure they won’t appreciate reading the Clinton bashing.
That's a good point. That's a very good point. There is nothing to be gained at this point in time by bashing Hillary. She's not our opponent right now. I'm taking your post to heart. Starting now.

But Obama already has no foreign policy experience. So if you’re worried about her being second in line, reading between the lines I’d say you’re more worried about her being female.

i agree her future indeed looks bleak! But if McCain wins she sure will challenge him! After all she’s 61? right now and will be 65 in another 4 yrs. IF she doesn’t become president by then, then she prolly never will, for 8 yrs. from now, she will be 69—— too old for office

I’m not sure I get what you are worried about.

The person who would know exactly what to do in every scenario you described as never been born. A President has to assess each situation as it develops, listen to a plethora of advisors, consult whatever intelligence is available and weigh whether or not it is credible, and make a decision.

So you want a President who is at least familiar with that process and who can provide leadership, because they have a track record of making difficult decisions.

It is clear that Obama has absolutely no experience in that arena. His own arrogance will prevent him from even getting all of the facts, let alone allow him to make a rational decision. And his history of being around America hating individuals will color any of the decisions he makes, because he does not believe in American superiority in any sphere.

Biden has never had to make a decision that has cost him anything. That is how he has lasted for 36 in the Senate. No matter how outrageous he acts, how many lies he spouts, how many wrong decisions he makes, no one holds him to account.

At least with McCain and Palin, you have people who have had to make decisions with real consequences. And with them you know they love America. So they are going to decide scenarios that are based on us winning rather than us saying “mea culpa”.

I’ve seen enough of Palin to know she could handle the Oval Office if she had to. She understands the process, and she understands accountability. That is light years ahead of either person on the Democrat ticket.

So I don’t see your concern.

There was no Hillary era. WTF?>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

You are correct. Hillery was a sub-rosa operative for hubby the BJ Clinton.

She has had no "era". However she will now try to take the Democrat Party back from George Soros, Howard Dean, Obama and the Dem left wing Secretariate.Obama will lose this election, and then the Hillery era will truly begin. She will be very strong now as a Congresswoman.Obama will be defeated, and will not return to Congress.

Hillery is Palins future opponent, and Hillery will start by campaigning against Palin on behalf of Obama in Florida. It will be interesting what she will say, Obama has tried to control Hillery by limiting what she can speak on. Racial issues are verbotin. Now Obama needs the Shrillery to fight Palin. He has lost control of Hillery. She will say whatever she damn well pleases. We will get a preview of how the 2012 presidential campain will go.

I predict a cat fight over the next few weeks.

Why don’t you wait until the media asks Gov. Palin something foreign policy related and see how she answers before you pitchfork her.

Most of Barack Obama’s foreign policy “experience” consists of going on a whirlwind trip to visit “foreign leaders” last month for a series of vacuous “meetings” for photo-ops with a bunch of puzzled looking presidents and potentates.

Bill Clinton’s amount of foreign policy experience when he left Arkansas as its Governor wouldn’t have made a big enough wad to load a popgun. (Not that he was anything to write home about.)

Call it the Hillary curse then. Whatever you call it, if Sarah Palin can end it...GOOD!

Now, maybe the Yankees can win the world series again.

I thought it would take a wooden stake through the heart or a silver bullet.
Never the less, I’d never go before Mrs. Clinton without a very large cross around my neck next to some cloves of garlic.

What i want is somebody who understands foreign policy well. For when you do get that 3 am phone call you can consult with your experts and decide for yourself what’s the best course for the country. If Mc Cain wasn’t this old and vulnerable i would have no problem.

coming to obama, the thing is even if you spend a couple of yrs. in the senate foreign relations committee or armed forces committee you get a rough idea about the foreign policy/security challenges facing the country. But since obama hardly showed up or paid any attention to those senate deliberations it’s safe to assume that he too doesn’t have much experience! But atleast his running mate does. Now i may not agree with biden most of the time but he sure knows a thing or two about foreign policy. Also he personally knows many world leaders...Many don’t realize it but chemistry between leaders is an important ingredient of diplomacy. But then again i don’t agree with many of his policies. He may know what to do during a time of crisis but won’t do anything to stop that crisis from happening in the first place.eg. he may know what to do if there is a war between iran and israel but would prolly do nothin if iran explodes a nuke.McCain prolly would but don’t know how long he’s gonna live.

We are facing troubled times and we are forced to choose between McCain/palin and obma/biden!! This is the best america could come up with!!

I don't think Hillary will go against Palin. First of all, she announced that she wouldn't. (It would backfire on her later.) Secondly, if Hillary can't be President she sure doesn't want another Democrat to win.
Hillary is watching and waiting.

I wonder if Palin's opponents in Alaska had similar concerns at the time she ran for governor against a more experienced incumbent?

One thing I predict is that she would surround herself with wise counsel. She is intelligent, she has common sense, she has integrity. Don't make the mistake of underestimating her.

I would trust her more than Biden/Obama any day!

SW009—I have some good news for you.

You and I have more sense on foreign policy than Joe Biden does. Joe Biden has been wrong on every major foreign policy issue since the Vietnam War.

So what good is his “knowledge of foreign policy” when he decides consistently against the best interests of America?

Don’t worry about foreign policy so much. It isn’t that complicated.

It boils down to this: Don’t mess with America or we’ll kick your ass.

Think that is insensitive? Well, after 64 years of saving the world, spending countless trillions to end Nazism, Fascism, Emperor- Worship, and Soviet Communism, including hundreds of thousands of American lives since 1944, and bringing freedom to about two billion people, we find that even though we took no territory, no oil, no gold, no silver or anything else from anybody, we have been repaid by a European Union and Russia that traded Food for Oil with Saddam Hussein post 9/11, and a Middle East that still wants to destroy us. You can count on one hand that number of countries that have sent soldiers to stand beside us in Iraq and Afghanistan and shed their blood with ours. And Communist China that will challenge us in the near future.

Only a strong offense will keep the bad boys in line, and I’m tired of apologizing for our supremacy. Unlike any other world power in human history, we have been benevolent to even our conquered enemies,at great material cost to ourselves.

Intricate foreign policy is for Euroweenie a$$hats. Teddy Roosevelt expressed it best: Speak softly and carry a big stick.

I see Sarah Palin in that mode. And I think John McCain will also take that mantle—at 72 he has nothing left to accomplish but a legacy to leave behind.

And look how that turned out??while al-qaeda was planning an attack on america this guy was busy drilling oil in the white house.MSM blamed bush for failure to stop 9-11 attacks but it was this guy inaction which led to those attacks. CIA had a lock on osama's position in afghanistan and all they wanted was a permission to launch strikes but that permission never came!! And al-qaeda wasn't his only failure. This guy considered china an ally of america and even went on to sell missiles /military satellites to them.Thank god the congress blocked that move.
