Can Freeper Airforce Fly Again? (LATimes Tape)

Anyone watching the HBO movie "Recount" about the 2000 election will notice a scene where a banner plane is flying overhead with "Surrender Gorethy".

Not as famous as Sore/Loserman but one of many Freeper inspired slogans that helped shape the mood during Gore's attempt to steal the 2000 election.

Back in those days it was our own "Freeper Airforce" who took to the skies to put up these political messages. Freepers "Seeking the Truth" (aka Gene) and "flygirl" seem to have been flying political messages as early as October and flew the "Surrender Gorethy" banner on Thursday 11/16/2000.

So my point is the tape being withheld by the LA Times could be a game changer and I think its time we all get involved and maybe the Freeper Airforce could fly again. A banner plane flying overhead the LA Times building reading "LAT-RELEASE THE TAPE!" would be a great start. Organized protests, like the ones outside the recount in Florida, need to take place. If McCain and Palin really are serious about the importance of this tape, they need to make an appearance at this protest. Such a moment could not be ignored by the MSM.

Every idea has a starting point...look what one freeper did at home by photoshopping a Gore/Lieberman sign started. IS this something we can get started? I'm willing to kick in $50 towards hiring a banner plane if someone wants to organize it.

For whatever reason they ( Obama and the LA-Times ) intended to do by holding onto those tapes and refuse to release them, is a moot reason now, because ? by the fact that they ( Obama and the LA-TIMES ) are holding onto the tapes is just making more news and interest in those tapes, and the notion of what is on those tapes that the word is getting out....
To late Obama, LA-TIMES, no point now to hold onto those tapes because people are getting news and wind of what is on those tapes.... also ? you don't deny that those tapes exist.

Great idea, but too late and complicated to organize now. Many, many freepers across the country will be working their precincts this week. With only 5 full days to go, this is the time to GET OUT THE VOTE!

Now is the time to e-mail, work your precinct, telephone neighbors, friends and relatives, see that everyone has a ride to the polling place, babysitting needs, etc.

This grunt work in the last week is what wins elections.

One subject I have found effective with my older [Dem] friends is how Obama's tax refund will affect their Social Security. Obama says he will send $1000 tax refunds to 95% of the people. When asked how he can refund money to the approx 50% of the populace who does not pay taxes he has replied, 'they still pay payroll taxes.'

What I explain is that - if there is fear already that SS will run out of money in 7-10 years - how soon will it go broke if the govt returns the payments [+] of 50% of the contributors? hmmmmm?

Now THAT takes me back. To an Internet long, long ago and far, far away...
