He shot the suspect. In the absence of a trial, this man will never be “convicted”. Wussy editors should realize that you cannot libel the dead.
The man killed was a crook who’d pulled a gun. Print.

an armed suspect attempted to rob the El Michoacano I'll stipulate that the employee was here legally (and if he wasn't, at least he did one good thing here) ... but I have to wonder about the status of the now deceased crook.

Yeah. We’d rather have the woman and child dead instead of citizens defending themselves. How dare this serf defend himself and others!

Excellent. Another dead thug.

Police are also investigating information about the gun, its owner and the employee who possessed it. Gotta see if we can't throw him in jail for an "illegal" use or possession of a gun doncha know, feh

Unless Indiana has a “stand your ground with deadly force” law, he can be prosecuted by the dead punk's relatives. Before Missouri passed that law, you were guilty until proven innocent if you defended yourself with deadly force. Now, the punk's lawyers can prosecute but if you were found only defending yourself, the lawyers have to pay court cost and restitution. Just hoping our newly elected DemocRAT governor won't try to overturn the SYG law.

Police are also investigating information about the gun, its owner and the employee who possessed it. Totally irrelevant and possibly unconstitutional, as well.........

With a bullet or two, Indianapolis just saved a boat load in tax payer money.

“The HERO is being investigated?”
Standard procedure. Is the guy a felon who’s not allowed to have a gun?
I agree he’s a hero, though.

“Totally irrelevant and possibly unconstitutional, as well.........”
Unconstitutional? I don’t think so. For instance, do you know if the clerk’s a felon who’s not allowed to own a gun?
To: gracesdad
Amendment II A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
For instance, do you know if the clerks a felon whos not allowed to own a gun?
Funny, I didn't see that "except for felons" clause in there..........

See Amendment 5 of the Constitution: "...nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law...."
That means that that given due process of law, i.e. conviction for a felony, someone may be deprived of life, liberty or property, including the right to keep and bear arms, the right to vote and other liberties.
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Keep thinking that.........I'll keep thinking it as long as the constitution keeps saying it.
We can't ignore the parts of the constitution that we don't like anymore than the libs can. The fifth amendment is there just like the second amendment.
