What pi$$ed her off was that a mod deleted her post on - oooh I forget the topic - but it had already been posted some 5-6 times and the dupes were piling up.

I realize the holidays can be tough for some people. And while it might seem cathartic to come here and post to get attention, some of the replies you will get might not do anything positive for your mental well being.
Have you perhaps considered getting some counseling from one of the public help numbers? You should be able to find them in your phone book under mental health providers.
Before you find yourself alienated even further through circumstances you can’t control, please seek professional help.
