Alert – Stop Congress From Restricting Your Property Rights.
ATR ^ | Grover Norquist

Posted on 02/10/2009 10:32:31 PM PST by nateriver

While everyone is distracted with the Pelosi Reid Obama artery–choking, cardiac arrest, Pork Barrel Spending Bill, congress is sneaking-ly trying to pass the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009. Left-wing environmentalists are behind this bill to purposely undercut current progress toward affordable domestic energy. Essentially they will be stealing 300 million barrels of proven oil and 8.8 trillion cubic feet of natural gas from any future use.

I am afraid that with the decline in prices public support for exploration will not be high enough to pressure a Democrat controlled congress.

On the other hand, we will hopefully lose the more stupid of the alternative energy boondoggles too.

Well, gosh, that fits in with thier world manipulation project, the fact that there is plenty of fossile fules to go around for far longer than they project, and that the real aim of most of the “Ture Liars” is to mislead the public.

Within the US contiguous states, there is enough energy not to be alarmed, add Alaska, and were set, for like 100 years, worst estimate. And then ther’es this whole C02 thing is a polutant, don’t buy that crap, unless you feel guilty that you exhale.. Ho, man I really really think folks should pick up a science book, Ya know, before the current admin burns them all, like what happened in other places...

SI is lib crap. Time Warner/CNN is the parent company.

Golf Digest is so politically correct with Obama fawning and Steroid Tiger fawning over Obama. Meanwhile the whole golf industry is imploding due to O’s depression.

“On the other hand, we will hopefully lose the more stupid of the alternative energy boondoggles too.”

I wonder if there will be any money left to appropriate/borrow/print after the stiffit-volumous bill is passed for alternative energy?

At some point, government has to be the next bubble to burst.

Decline? It’s gone up $0.30 in the past week... ever since our delightful new president (vomit no wait false alarm) reversed the drilling...

$4 dollar-a-gallon gasoline by August is probably easily predictable by anyone who watched Mr Øbama say he was going to ‘double alternative energy output’ in his news conference,

2 X 0 = 0, he’s so bright the white house needs another lamp shade

“The United States of Argentina”

And ‘louie’ Qaddafi wants to become the ‘present’ of Africa.

But, you make a point.

Unfortunately, Zimbabwe is unknown to most in this country to use as an example.

Gas prices have started their springtime rise into the summer, because of the boutique blends of gasoline must be produced(thanks enviro-whackos), tying up refinery capacity. If we can stall this bill until mid-April, the rise in gas prices will put drilling again at the forefront. The last thing people need is more of their disposable income going back in to the tank right now. The fall/winter drop in gas prices may be the only bright economic news for many families going through these tough times.

Unfortunately even Wyoming’s 2 Republican senators voted for this thing, just as Reid demanded. Now enviros and the politically correct are trying to force Rep. Lumis to vote for it. So far she has stood tall and voted no. The dumb hunters and fisherman are in favor to “protect” the Wyoming Range, and I for one will laugh when they find out the enviros declare it off limits to all non hikers.

I disagree. I think folks are still shotgun shy. They see it creeping ever-so-slowly back up and they know where it can go.

Then again, it's early. I'm always optimistic in the morning.

It has gone up because the oil companies are drastically reducing refining capacities. They said that under-$3 oil doesn’t make them enough profit (Exxon Mobil posted its largest profit EVER this year).
