Now, here's a model of biblical proportions. A retired farmer has spent more than 30 years building an enormous scale model of Herod's temple - and it is still not finished

Thanks for bringing that to our attention Mojito. That was very nice. I’ll have to admit to being somewhat of a candidate to become addicted to that type of endeavor. I love looking at stuff like that. This guy has done a very nice job.

God was very particular about how He was to be approached. There are chapters and chapters of instructions about the exact details of the Tabernacle and the later Temple, and how they were to be built. Also rules and rules about sacrifices, and how they were to be done, down to what the priests were to wear, clean/unclean rules, etc. Why? He says because He is holy. You don’t just go up to Him as though He is just anybody.
Now we approach him through Christ.
