Don't you keep your speedloaders in a clip?

I have a hard time cycling the bolt that fast, much less aiming and reloading too.

I agree. Even with a Browning A-bolt I am not sure how fast I could cycle - that many times. I can get five off pretty fast and relatively accurately from a Mauser 98. Prone helps if you are younger and do not have a belly but still amazing feat.

Thanks, neither of my Enfields has the capability to handle loading a cartridge from a device like that. - The receiver has a large rectangular opening in the bottom that has nothing to handle any attachment other than the lugs on the closed box magazines as pictured in my post. The cartridges in your photo do appear to be the standard .303 that my rifles use though.

***That’s interesting. Have you ever considered the ramifications of 10,000 skilled marksmen each firing only one round and then disappearing into the shadows?
That is what I would fear. ***
Remember the old story of Hitler’s general and the Swiss?
The German General says to the Swiss diplomat...”The German army is five times bigger than the Swiss army. What would we do if we invaded!”
The Swiss diplomat says...”Each of our soldiers would fire five shots and go home.”
Switzerland was not invaded.

The stripper does not replace your box magazine. The stripper essentially holds the rounds in place while you push them in from the top. The metal clip is then removed and does not stay in the gun. As all Mks of the Enfield had the stripper guide (except for some rare target models), it would be odd that both of yours have had it removed. Ignoring the magazine cut off, do your Enfields look like this on top? The top piece, just left of center in the photo, is the clip guide.

The long gun is quite similar to the one you show, but the carbines are completely different at the top.
They have a very similar bolt and firing pin, with a breech lock that is slightly larger, and the trigger guard, and magazine receiver are exactly the same, but they don’t have the sniper sight; the rear sight is more like a Remington, or Browning, except that it is factory welded to the barrel.

"in just over a minute ... Ballistics reports show that 41-year-old Jiverly Wong fired 87 times from a 9mm Beretta and 11 times from a .45-caliber handgun" Well, assuming standard mag size for the 92F, this is at least 4 mag swaps on the 9mm, plus the time to fire the rounds, in "just over a minute" ... assuming the crowd he was firing into was corralled in some way, he wouldn't have to be aiming very carefully, he could off hand the .45 thru the first mag, then drop it and start the swaps on the 9mm ... so I can see how it could be done.
Still, this sounds like the set-up to talking points for the banning of "high capacity magazines" to go along with the convenient "assault weapons" aspect from the Oakland incident.
This is all just a little too convenient.
