Dinosaur herd buried in Noahs Flood in Inner Mongolia, China
by Tas Walker Published: 14 April 2009
An international team of scientists have uncovered graphic evidence of the deadly terror unleashed on a herd of dinosaurs as they were buried under sediment by the rising waters of Noahs Flood in western Inner Mongolia (figure 1).[1]
Dinosaur bones were first discovered at the site, located at the base of a small hill in the Gobi Desert, in 1978 by a Chinese geologist. After about 20 years, a team of Chinese and Japanese scientists recovered the first skeletons, which they named Sinornithomimus, meaning Chinese bird mimic.
A few years later in 2001, the international team excavated the remains of more than 25 dinosaurs, creating a large quarry in the process as they as they followed the skeletons into the base of the hill. Remarkable excavation
As the team carefully mapped the location of the bones and strata that contained them (figure 2), it became clear that the dinosaurs were all within the same layer of mudstone (i.e. the same bedding plane), generally facing the same direction and remarkably well preserved.[2]...

They were all pretty chummy, too.
So it means they were all killed by the same event at the same time. Gee, we've never seen catastrophic localized flash flooding in human history /sarcasm.
I doubt it. But the Bible does describe dinos.
Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. He ranks first among the works of God (Job 40:15-19).
Sometimes four or five times daily.
Now you are responsible for this newfound knowledge:
Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. He ranks first among the works of God (Job 40:15-19).
“Usually, even a non-Christian knows something about the earth, the heavens, and the other elements of this world, about the motion and orbit of the stars and even their size and relative positions, about the predictable eclipses of the sun and moon, the cycles of the years and the seasons, about the kinds of animals, shrubs, stones, and so forth, and this knowledge he hold to as being certain from reason and experience. Now, it is a disgraceful and dangerous thing for an infidel to hear a Christian, presumably giving the meaning of Holy Scripture, talking nonsense on these topics; and we should take all means to prevent such an embarrassing situation, in which people show up vast ignorance in a Christian and laugh it to scorn. The shame is not so much that an ignorant individual is derided, but that people outside the household of faith think our sacred writers held such opinions, and, to the great loss of those for whose salvation we toil, the writers of our Scripture are criticized and rejected as unlearned men. If they find a Christian mistaken in a field which they themselves know well and hear him maintaining his foolish opinions about our books, how are they going to believe those books in matters concerning the resurrection of the dead, the hope of eternal life, and the kingdom of heaven, when they think their pages are full of falsehoods and on facts which they themselves have learnt from experience and the light of reason? Reckless and incompetent expounders of Holy Scripture bring untold trouble and sorrow on their wiser brethren when they are caught in one of their mischievous false opinions and are taken to task by those who are not bound by the authority of our sacred books. For then, to defend their utterly foolish and obviously untrue statements, they will try to call upon Holy Scripture for proof and even recite from memory many passages which they think support their position, although they understand neither what they say nor the things about which they make assertion.”
-St. Augustine of Hippo, “On the Literal Interpretation of Genesis”, A.D. 408
I’ve long understood behemoth to be hippopotamus.

oh come on, everyone knows that dinosaurs never lived, God just stuck bones in random places as a huge practical joke on later generations.
I used to take his posts seriously but now I appreciate them for their comedic relief.
errr no it's not what you'd expect fool.
If Noah's flood was real instead of mythology, you wouldn't expect to find just dinosaurs, you would expect to find dinos, elephants, monkeys, people, saber tooth tigers, dimetrodons all jumbled together.
The rest is just as silly, Flash floods happen in the desert all the time
so you don't need a worldwide flood to drown animals in a desert.
You think people and dinosaurs had to literally hang out together, in order to have existed at the same time? I'd tend to think they were rather inclined to avoid each other, unless hunting.
Augustine included old-age compromisers in that description:
AugustineThe City of God Against the Pagans
II Of the Falseness of the history which ascribes many thousands of years to times gone by
“Let us, then, omit the conjectures of men who know not what they say, when they speak of the nature and origin of the human race. They are deceived, too, by those highly mendacious documents which profess to give the history of many thousand years, though, reckoning by the sacred writings, we find that not 6000 years have yet passed.
Unless of course that in the particular area there wer no humans around. Or another possibility is that they have YET to find the human remains. But none of it is particularly important. I suspend judgement on causality and am just amazed at how quickly mud flows can overwhelm anyone or anything
Furthermore, why aren’t dinosaurs mentioned in the bible. Also, how did Archbishop Usher come up with a precise month, day and year, extrapolating back from generalized figures of numbers of generations, and ages listed by years, not dates of birth and death. And why would anyone with the capacity to think accept such an exact date so approximately calculated.
Regarding the youth of the dinosaurs. These might have been a herd of young, much as you have groupings of maturing young penguins or elephants that roam together. The article mentions signs of cracking in the mud. Perhaps the surface dried out, luring the dinosaurs to walk on it and then get mired. Kind of like the kids that end up getting drowned when thin ice breaks. Heavier adults would have punctured the surface at the edge and backed up immediately even if they were there. Question, was this in a depression bordered by high hills that could have been flooded by a sudden heavy rain and mud flows after they were mired?

Behemoth
(Job 40:15-24.) The Egyptian, Coptic, pehemout, “the water ox,” Hebraized; our “river horse”, hippopotamus. “Behold I made him with thee.” Yet how great the difference! “He eateth grass as an ox;” a marvel in an animal so much in the water, and that such a monster is not carnivorous. “His force is in the navel (rather muscles) of his belly”; the elephant’s skin there is thin, but the hippopotamus’ skin thick. “He moveth his tail like a cedar,” short indeed, but straight and rigid as the cedar. “The sinews of his thighs are twisted together,” like a thick rope. “His bones are as strong tubes of copper .... his spine like bars of iron.” He that made him hath furnished him with his sword” (his sickle-like teeth). Though so armed, he lets “all the beasts of the field play” near him, for he is herbivorous.
“He lieth under the lotus bushes,” in the covert of the reed and fens (being amphibious). “The lotus bushes cover him with their shadow.” “Behold (though) a river be overwhelming, he is not in hasty panic (for he can live in water as well as land); he is secure, though a Jordan swell up to his mouth.” Job cannot have been a Hebrew, or he would not adduce Jordan, where there were no river horses. He alludes to it as a name known only by hearsay, and representing any river. “Before his eyes (i.e. openly) will any take him, or pierce his nose with cords?” Nay, he can only be taken by guile. Jehovah’s first discourse (Job 38-39) was limited to land animals and birds; this second discourse requires therefore the animal classed with the crocodile to be amphibious, as the river horse.
The article explicitly states that these were cretaceous remains.
