Dinosaur herd buried in Noah’s Flood in Inner Mongolia, China

by Tas Walker Published: 14 April 2009

An international team of scientists have uncovered graphic evidence of the deadly terror unleashed on a herd of dinosaurs as they were buried under sediment by the rising waters of Noah’s Flood in western Inner Mongolia (figure 1).[1]

Dinosaur bones were first discovered at the site, located at the base of a small hill in the Gobi Desert, in 1978 by a Chinese geologist. After about 20 years, a team of Chinese and Japanese scientists recovered the first skeletons, which they named Sinornithomimus, meaning “Chinese bird mimic”.

A few years later in 2001, the international team excavated the remains of more than 25 dinosaurs, creating a large quarry in the process as they as they followed the skeletons into the base of the hill. Remarkable excavation

As the team carefully mapped the location of the bones and strata that contained them (figure 2), it became clear that the dinosaurs were all within the same layer of mudstone (i.e. the same bedding plane), generally facing the same direction and remarkably well preserved.[2]...

Why do I get the feeling that the “international team of scientists” don't think they have “uncovered graphic evidence of the deadly terror unleashed on a herd of dinosaurs as they were buried under sediment by the rising waters of Noah’s Flood in western Inner Mongolia”?

I don't know why you waste your time posting things that are so incomprehensibly idiotic.

Unless of course that in the particular area there wer no humans around.

Oh, the flood was local, not worldwide?

Or another possibility is that they have YET to find the human remains.

Call me when they find them.

I doubt it. But the Bible does describe dinos.

“Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. He ranks first among the works of God…” (Job 40:15-19).

Could be a description of a RINO.

“Look at the old behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on taxes like an ass. What weakness he has in his loins, what power in hot air from his the muscles of his belly! His face smirks like a knotted cedar; the sinews of his thighs are loose-knit. His bones are as old as tubes of hammered bronze, his limbs are twisted like rods of ancient iron. He ranks worst among the works of God…” (Job 40:15-19).

Hey, if it keeps him from hanging out at the bar all day, then it's fine.

==Furthermore, why aren’t dinosaurs mentioned in the bible

“Look at the behemoth, which I made along with you and which feeds on grass like an ox. What strength he has in his loins, what power in the muscles of his belly! His tail sways like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are close-knit. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like rods of iron. He ranks first among the works of God…” (Job 40:15-19).

Sounds like a dino to me. What other animal to you know of that feeds like an ox but has a tail comparable in size to a cedar tree?:

The hippopotamus was well established in the Nile River, but could this also be a reference to elephants? Also, if there were dinosaurs, where is the biblical reference to the gigantic, ferocious tyranosaurs, velociraptors, etc? Surely they would have been quoted as Gods terrible judgement upon mankind.

Augustine included old-age compromisers in that description:

Yes he certainly did. But he ALSO said that the six days of Genesis were not actual days, but that the creation happened "simul" = "all at once", and that the six days are actually six sets of revelations to the angels.

He ALSO admitted the possibility that certain animals like flies were only created potentially in the first six days and actually arose later through the power that God had placed in the earth at Creation. Not quite evolution, but certainly a philosophical leap in that direction.

The point is that the subject of Creation is extraordinarily complex. Augustine sheepishly admitted in his book that he was asking more questions than he could answer, and he said that if a better interpretation could be found for some of his ideas, so much the better. We would all do well to be a little circumspect about it today--and not go jumping to conclusions about direct evidence for Noah's flood from one site in inner Mongolia.

Oh, and by the why, he was right to scorn the "mendacious documents" that purport to give many thousand years to the history of earth. Human memory is not that long.

If you take it in context, you will see that the 'tail' in the passage is NOT the tail you think it is!

"Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail [phallus] like a cedar: the sinews [muscles] of his stones [testicles] are wrapped together."

Do you agree with Augustine in the areas where he departed from scripture that you outlined above?

Actually, the bible does NOT say that the tail is comparable in size to a cedar tree. You are misquoting the bible. Shame on you.
