How is this even possible? I know that the Nobel committee is a joke, but come on. Has the whole world lost its mind? How embarassing will it be when he turns out to be among the worst presidents ever? What a shitty way to start the weekend!

The Norwegian Nobel Committee has just become the laughing stock of the world.

I would like to rebut the esteemed Nobel committee on several points:

1- Dialogue and negotiations are preferred as instruments for resolving even the most difficult international conflicts. Sure they are. Try those out on al Qaeda and the Mullahs.

2- The vision of a world free from nuclear arms is simply that, a utopian vision. Nuclear arms cannot be un-invented. They are not going to disappear. We need to maintain the superior nuclear arms to promote world peace.

3- the great climatic challenges the world is confronting You pandering, pseudoscientific, anti-capitalist idiots. Just give the award to Gaia next time.

4- those who are to lead the world must do so on the basis of values and attitudes that are shared by the majority of the world's population The US president is not to "lead the world", nor is he to bow to the will of hostile, non-US values and attitudes.

5- a global response to global challenges Let's all bow to the UN and submit to the wise Global Leaders. Only if we submit to the Global Opinion can we be kosher Global Citizens and escape from the Global Climate Change and Global Naughtiness. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

When Jimmah Cartah won and the committee admitted that they gave it to him to embarrass GW, that told me all I ever needed to know about this prize.

He gets this Peace Prize on the same day that he starts a war with the MOON!

They’ll rescind it after Ming attacks us.

Unless he wanted to tart the war with the Moon in order to create the One-World government.

What a mess... just when I had begun to hope that, at least, the rest of the world had begun to come to its senses...

THIS IS A GOOD THING.

Seriously, I really feel that way.

Obama’s narcissistic ego took a bruising when he personally flew to Copenhagen and came back with an epic fail in trying to bring the Olympics to Chicago. Then there was the SNL skit about how he’s really done nothing, as POTUS. There was actually, for a few days, a real possibility that he would be dragged (kicking and screaming, for sure) back to Earth. Much as Clinton was after the 1994 election debacle.

My guess is that this is going to put his ego back into the stratosphere. And drag the chances of Obama completely overreaching in a spectacular way, along with it.

Obozo now has the privilege of being in the same distinguished company as Jimmah Carter, Yasser Arafat, and Manbearpig. The Nobel Peace Prize ain't what it used to be.

Looks like the Swedes are doing what they’ve done best the past several years — trying to use the P*ss Prize to influence US foreign (and now, perhaps, domestic) policy.

Maybe he can get two prizes in one day - first the Nobel peace prize, 2nd orders from Judge Carter that he better provide his records and pronto.

That would be the only thing to save the day!

The man who accomplished nothing to gain the American presidency but won it because of the color of his skin, has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize by the same logic.

This is not a time to rejoice because an American has won the Nobel Peace Prize, this is a time to mourn the death of reason.

Absolutely true, every word you said. The socialist-fascist-commie pig usurper 0boz0 wins another affirmative action conferred award. What a joke!!! If this bastard is not the anti-Christ already, I don't know who would fit the bill better than the magic kenyan negro. Another insult & slam against faithful conservatives & Christians & pro-lifers throughout the world. How can God allow the blessings & accolades to pile up on this lyin' POS SOB????

0boz0 could rape, murder, pillage, commit atrocities every day for the next 3 1/2 yrs on national & international TV, and the bastard will still probably be elected pres___ent, whether he is a natural born citizen or not, or no matter what crimes he has committed. I shake my head (for the millioneth time since last Nov 4) in stunned disbelief. Unbelieveable!!!

And here’s the clincher: “Other infamous nominees included Joseph Stalin and Benito Mussolini. However, since nomination requires only support from one qualified person (e.g., a history professor), these unusual nominations do not represent the opinions of the Nobel committee itself.”

I'm surprised they didn't include Rush Limbaugh with those two names. Remember when Mark Levin nominated him a couple years back? Oh how hilarious the media coverage was!

If you're talking about the death of the Nobel Peace Prize Committee's reason, that corpse rotted years ago.

The ruling elite are trying to cover the stench of Obama's failure with accolades.

Their 'theater of praise' will not work because the peasants have discovered that the emperor is naked and void of wisdom.

The global cult status of this man is unprecedented in the world of politics.

I hate to sound dramatic, but this VERY dangerous territory in which we find ourselves.
