What if you are fairly certain you have ALREADY HAD THE H1N1 FLU and you were forced to have a vaccination? Local media has reported that a lot of people in midwest have ALREADY HAD IT; so even if wanted a vaccination, wouldn’t it be moot or dangerous to take if you alraedy had the flu?

My memory could be off, but I seem to recall that was one of the many things Bush handed over during the transition for Obamanation to do with as he pleased, such as handing handing him the other 1/2 of the 700 billion dollars authorized to stimulate organized crime.
I was watching the local news this morning, and they said that Seattle ran out of vaccine in 3 days, and they're hoping to start immunizing the Snohomish area in the next few days. Yet Sebeluis has been placating the nation for weeks not to worry, there was enough for everyone.

I agree with pretty much all you said—my neighbor was saying 1,000 died and that had her concerned. I told her that I thot around 30,000 die annually from flu—just not reported in media and usually very old/ young and sick.
Daughter at college and they are not doing anymore testing unless kids want to go to hosp. for the test. Based on her sypmtoms, fairly certain she has it, but no official diagnosis.
How, exactly, is 1,000 deaths equated to a national emergency? There is 40 times that many deaths from regular flu alone every year. This is just one more bs attempt to take complete control and power over the states rights. This could even be the “situation” Biden warned us about, albeit a few months later (the lefties couldn’t get their $hit together fast enough to create the crisis, as usual).
What’s next? Mandatory vaccinations for everyone, even tho there isn’t even enough vaccine for those that WANT the shots? This is typical of what life under these bozos will be like forever if we don’t step up to the plate, take the bat from Glenn Beck and knock these aholes out of the park once and for all. Our founding forefathers sure as hell would.

That’s true. They have a campus of K-12 on Long Island (disabled children), that have lost kids. I keep asking why they would keep a school open with kids in wheelchairs... who are obviously more in danger re: upper resp. infections.

I was answering a question as to why a doctor would give a patient meds for bateria when they have a virus. This virus does open some people up to bacterial infections due to weakened immune systems. The information you are giving does not match the information given by doctors of flu victims.

Nobody's saying it's not important. But it certainly does not fall under 'national emergency' territory, because if it did, then why shouldn't, for example, the 36,000!!!!! DEAD AMERICANS from non swine flu every year be called a national emergency? Not considering this kind of thing is really what is cavalier in a country.
What 0bama is doing is like crying 'wolf' every time a chihuahua barks and diminishing the importance of potential real national emergencies.
Wouldn't that suggest that seasonal flu vaccine should be made available with those over 65 as a priority? (seaonal flu vaccine shortage alert!)
I know one person who has died of the swine flu (at least that was the official word—she was in the hospital for a couple of weeks before she died). I have never known anyone that died of flu before, but I don’t mean that I think it’s more dangerous than any other flu. I just wonder why an apparently healthy middle aged person died from it.
Actually, that number of 36,000 die each year of regular flu is not true. Someone made that number up to stop panic in the US when we were watching Mexico in April and May.
The actual number of deaths due to regular flu is much, much less - DVDmom posted up thread the actual statistic kept by the CDC.
