Why tea party patriots should support Sarah Palin should she decide to run
11/28/2009 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/28/2009 12:28:57 PM PST by Jim Robinson

She's a God, Country, Family, small government, no nonsense traditional Christian conservative. She's an outsider not corrupted by business as usual Washington politics. They hate her. She's pro defense. An army mom. She's pro-gun. Hunts, fishes and enjoys the great outdoors. She eats corrupt office holders and wasteful spenders for lunch. She drills for oil. She's a fighter. A winner!

She's the exact opposite to Obama in all respects. She's an American patriot!

In short, she's exactly what we the grassroots tea party patriots are looking for.

I will support Sarah Palin, work hard for her, and vote for her if she runs. If she chooses to run, I think she’ll surprise people on the campaign trail.

I was in high school when President Reagan was elected. I distinctly remember the way people made fun of him, calling him an actor, a lightweight. When he got out there and talked to people, though, he was transformed, as were those he touched. Kids my age were electrified, engaged, interested.

Sarah Palin has that... whatever it is - that connection to people. The GOP would be wise not to underestimate her.

Will I vote for governor Palin in general election against Obama? You betcha!

Will I vote for her if she runs as a 3rd party candidate? No way! It will be a wasted vote and I am very frugal.

Will I vote for her during primaries? Not sure. Depends on who else is in the field in GOP and if more electable than Sarah.

Jim, just finished Sarah’s book. After reading about her life in Alaska alone, it was easy to determine that at age 18 she had already had more experience to lead this country than Ohaha! Her young life experience was amazing!!!

They hate her on both sides...Both sides of the elite left and right hate her because she is not one of them...Sarah has a heart for the American people...She’s for real.

I begin to support Sarah Palin when she said the following...

"This is a man [Barack Obama] who can give an entire speech about the wars America is fighting, and never use the word “victory” except when he’s talking about his own campaign".

"But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed ... when the roar of the crowd fades away ... when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot - what exactly is our opponent's plan? What does he actually seek to accomplish, after he's done turning back the waters and healing the planet?"

"The answer is to make government bigger ... take more of your money ... give you more orders from Washington ... and to reduce the strength of America in a dangerous world".

"America needs more energy ... our opponent is against producing it. Victory in Iraq is finally in sight ... he wants to forfeit. Terrorist states are seeking nuclear weapons without delay ... he wants to meet them without preconditions. Al Qaeda terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America ... he's worried that someone won't read them their rights"

" Government is too big ... he wants to grow it. Congress spends too much ... he promises more. Taxes are too high ... he wants to raise them." --

Sarah Palin-Republican National Convention, September, 2008.

I've supported her ever since and see no reason not to.

I will support her as I did in ‘08; I hope for a more successful outcome next time.

If the “path” takes them out of the country, and back in line with everyone else, then that’s the “path” I’m thinking of.

Also, what’s her stance on the Fed? Is it sucking the life out of this country?

A big endorsment!! Palin will need as many as she can get between now and 2012. I’ve donated to campaigns before, but have never worked for one, if Palin runs I’ll be volunteering right away, as well as donating.

Kimberly, will you only support a candidate who states that he or she will deport every illegal alien, because I think you will be waiting a long time. Sarah would support a comprehensive immigration plan which would encourage self deportation (employer incentive), border security, and limited deportation, and that is good enough for me. I am not going to support a candidate who proposes a 1940’s style solution to the immigration problem, because frankly any candidate who proposes such a solution is merely giving lip service and will never win a general election.

I like her but last time I checked she still supported the bankster bailouts. Until she recants she’s a definite “no go” for me.

The only achievement of the Carter administration was ascertaining the election of Ronald Reagan.

Zero’s only achievement will be the election of Sarah Palin.

I’m in 100% and as you know, I put my money where my mouth is.

I have heard her complain about the second stimulus package. I don’t think she want to make too much noise about the first bailout package since her running mate was involved, and it would be spun a hypocritical. Sarah refused to accept money from the second stimulus when she was Governor, so her fiscal conservative credential are not in question, in my mind.
