Invest in Precious Metals: Gold, Silver, and Lead

G. Gordon Liddy says: “Buy your gold where I buy mine! At Rosland Capital!”

Goldline International, Inc., trusted and used by Glenn Beck!

Rush Limbaugh says! “Get your free gold guide from Lear Capital!”

Everyone these days is trying to get you to convert your paper money into precious metals. It’s more stable during unsure economic times. In fact, when the dollar goes down, gold and silver go up!

Well, I suppose all that’s true, but in harsh economic times, when gold and silver are so desirable, ordinary, commoners like myself just can’t afford to buy precious metals. The only way I’ll be getting any gold is if I pan it from a stream bed myself. Silver? Well, I can afford a little of that. I was speaking at the New Hampshire Liberty Forum last weekend and a man was selling half ounce and one ounce silver coins. I bought four of them and it broke me. But, at least I have them in case… well, whatever. They make a nice clinking sound in my pocket, and the shine entertains weak-minded individuals like me. It’s a distraction from troubled times.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not dirt-talking gold and silver. In fact, I’d love to have more of it. It’s just not in the cards for me right now. However, there is a third precious metal that I can afford. It’s called “lead”!

That’s right, it’s the precious metal that increases in value when crime goes up and when tyrannical governments threaten freedom’s flame. Lead is tried and true. For two-hundred and thirty-five years, Americans have been including lead in their financial portfolios, and with great success I might add. It’s the precious metal for rich and poor alike, and its value never reaches zero! In fact, I’m carrying several troy ounces of lead on my person right now. Who needs American Express. “Lead! Don’t leave home without it!” I believe that lead is so valuable these days that I’ve got hundreds of pounds of it in my financial portfolio at home. I’ve got rifle lead in .22, 5.56 and .223 calibers. I’ve got pistol lead in just about every conceivable shape and size, and last, but certainly not least, I’ve got enough shotgun lead to blow away even the most enthusiastic of precious metal speculators. Yes, I’m a very blessed man.

I’ll never argue that gold and silver aren’t good. When times get rough and the dollar goes down, they’ll help you feed your family. But unless you’re surrounded by werewolves, they don’t make very good bullets!

Lead is the most useful of all precious metals, simply because it’s the only thing that stands between you and the wolves. When that armed robber sticks a knife in your face and demands your gold, I say give him lead! In the unfortunate event that our own leaders try to enslave us; if they try to steal our lead; if they go door-to-door in an attempt to rob us of our precious metal wealth, I say give it to them! Don’t be selfish! Give them all of it. Then reload and give them some more. And lead is for women too. When that rapist knocks you down, bent on doing you harm, give him the mother of all cold showers, compliments of … you guessed it! Lead! Of all precious metals, lead is the only one that becomes more valuable when it’s time to give it away.

Okay, by now some of you are thinking “He’s silly. He’s daft. He’s out of his mind!” I don’t think so. Truth is, even though I’m making light of a very serious situation, I’m also making a lot of sense.

I just finished watching a documentary called “After Armageddon” put out by the History Channel. (One of the experts they interviewed was Michael Bane who is speaking at the Second Amendment March.) In the documentary, they follow one family as they flee a pandemic-infested Los Angeles on their way to safety in Idaho. The one constant in the triad of precious metals that consistently outperformed all others was lead. Anyone who had it was elevated head and shoulders above the pack. And if you didn’t have it, you were simply a sheep, and sheep during chaotic social unrest are good for one purpose and one purpose only: to be killed and have their parts processed into something useful by predators. Gold can be stolen. Silver can be stripped away. But lead? Lead can’t be taken without a fight. I guess you could say that “lead is the one metal that protects all others”.

I suppose there’s nothing more to say about it, other than this:

Silver American eagle - $19.62 Gold Krugerrand - $1136.89 Platinum Bar, 1 oz Suisse - $1652.10 Lead, 155 grains, slicing through a criminal – PRICELESS!

The following is a public service announcement.

There is still a great pistol and ammo deal out there waiting for you. If you have waited too long to arm up, or if you want one more, look at the excellent milsurp CZ-52 pistol and 7.62X25 Tokarev ammo.

You can get a CZ-52 for about $200 at any gun show or at many gun stores. You can also find them by googling around the internet. The ammo can be had for as low as 11 cents a bullet in any quantity you want. Extra mags are from $12 to $20 each.

The milsurp ammo is full metal jacket, firing an 85gr bullet at 1,600fps. These will go through car doors, kevlar helmets, kevlar vests etc like an icepick through butter. OTOH, they will also go through one bad guy and maybe hit a good guy behind him.

However, you can buy hollowpoints ("Wolf Gold" with brass shells) for about $19/50, or half the price of comparable 9mm JHPs. My test "Wolf Gold" JHP ammo expanded to .60 caliber, the same as my test 9mm JHPs.

So for $400, you could buy a CZ-52, 1,500 rounds of assorted ammo, and a few extra mags. OR, you could buy about 2/3s of a "brand name" pistol, and no ammo.

It's just a thought. This is a great bargain. The ammo is cheap and plentiful at all of the internet catalog sites. Don't wait, the libtards will soon slam the door on foreign gun and ammo imports, and the prices will go way up.

Another benefit of this pistol is that it is very accurate, with very fine sights. WIth this flat-shooting ammo, you can hit at 100 yards with ease. Downsides are brittle firing pins (buy a spare, and don't dry fire) and a decocking function that you should not trust. Just lower the SA hammer like a 1911. The safety works like a 1911, so if you are used to 1911s, it will be very easy to use the CZ-52

Once you have a significant portion of your "portfolio" in lead, DO consider silver or gold. It's comparatively hard to transport your "lead currency" if you need to skiddaddle.

Also consider freeze-dried foods, long term food storage, alternative energy, etc, as preservation of wealth.

Here's a good list of things to invest in, considering what the present "powers that be" have in store for us:

I think you need to add copper to your portfolio.

The value of lead has tripled in recent years. In fact, a strong lead portfolio will also protect your gold and silver stocks. So it’s a win-win.

Gold might not always be able to get you lead, but lead will always be able to get you gold. -With apologies to Machiavelli.

Couldn't agree more. IMHO this is a much better choice than something like a Hi Point pistol for those on a budget. The round itself, in its hotter loads, is also pretty impressive for a pistol round. A few custom ammo loaders were even offering a sabot round (.223 bullet in a.30 caliber sabot) for even better performance. Now if only someone would come up with 7.62 X 25 Tokarev upper for the AR 15.

Thank you for the post.

Question:
What is the first revolver a cost-conscious consumer should buy for a first-time shooter who is a small woman with small hands (Mrs. Christian_Capitalist)? Happy to buy new or used, whatever, just trolling for suggestions.

I’d get a Charter Arms Undercover .38.

I’ve had one for 25 years, it’s still perfect.

You won’t ever be sorry. She can use it and so can you. My version has a bobbed hammer. You will only ever fire it double action anyway, so for a “pocket pistol” a cut down hammer is a plus. Why spend 100s more for a S&W when a Charter Arms will do just as well?
