Democrats winning 2008 was their death sentence (for ratings). Most of MSNBC viewers are just watching them for entertainment, to see what outrageous stuff they will try to pull next. They are melting down.
(But they seemed to think some RINos will flip on bank reform Thursday.)
Now they tell us.. I remember taking salt tablets in high school and during basic training.
Oh well, I guess that explains my high blood pressure. Oh wait, the current administration is to blame for that.
Yep. My parents ate real food, and so do we. We have no prescription drugs in the house. The only time I've had to see a doctor was for child birth.
2 kids are in college now, one on the presidents list, the next on the honors list. Neither is overweight, both are healthy and glowing.
I see the people around us, and their skin looks gray. They're fat. They're tired. They're miserable. They eat "healthy" according to the politicaslly correct diet dictators. (My guess is these people aren't going to enjoy a very long life. They look like they're half dead already.)
Nope. They are the people that dine on high calorie quick foods including lots of sugar and fats.

I no longer have any faith in the Republican Party. They have to PROVE their worth to me on a case by case basis.
And their food would be real. They'd grow or raise their own.
Currently? Where do you live?
No, they'll call us salt baggers. WE'LL call ourselves salt shakers. ;-)
OK, WHAT is that picture about? How can you post a picture with NO explanation?
It's good to be king.
It will have to be a modified milk toast. You see, the recipe I have calls for white bread, whole milk, cream or butter optional (there are times to omit these), salt and pepper.
The future recipe some dense, dry whole wheat bread and low fat soy milk substitute and pepper.
Darn straight. That box of salt stays.
Great bumper sticker - "Obama = what happens when stupid people vote".
WHAT the heck is HFCS?
The future recipe some dense, dry whole wheat bread and low fat soy milk substitute and pepper.
Sounds like another yummy future fast food recipe! Make note Obama, order #1 Dry, whole wheat bread, soy milk, butter buds & pepper, milk toast. Can’t wait to place my order and thanks for the delicious sounding recipe :)
The Informant a little known Matt Damon movie reveals a little of the corrupt dealings of these folks, it's worth seeing (I got a copy from netflix with an interesting commentary track).
In the quantities we are now being force fed this artificial and dangerous industrial product, most of us will die from diabetes and obesity related disease's.
And , it wouldn't be in our food if tax dollars didn't support it.
It has to do with products containing poisonous substances that were sold decades ago and led to the death of children.
Packing information is cheap and amounts to less than a fraction of a penny for each unit packaged. It is no more onerous than to place an excise tax stamp on packages to show the products are legal.
Transfats are lethal over time. I don’t approve our government banning them but I can see a role for government to call out the dangers of such substances.
I am a big supporter of federal government mandating that each product package be labeled with a federal tax burden estimate in the price of the product. For example, a Starbucks latte for $2 would have either a label on a cup or a placard inside the cafe stating that the federal embedded burden of taxation is estimated to be 20% of the price of the latte, and other products.
Gotcha. Thank you.
I thought the historic reference was clear enough.
That’s Ghandi at the sea collecting salt on which the British otherwise had a massive tax.
Ghandi’s point was that you cannot have an exorbitant tax on that which we can pick up ourselves.
Similarly, the Feds cannot truly regulate salt, ever. People can literally head to the sea, and make their own.
Memo to ADM: Die, corporate scum.
