The origin of modern myths and legends is a side interest of mine, the birther myths among them.
Now I understand why Obama being born in Kenya made it into your belief system, despite it being physically impluasible (requiring around 5 days and five flights, most on propeller planes) and financially impossible (it would have cost about a year of her parents' combined salaries) for Stanley Ann & Obama Sr. to travel there for her to give birth. After all, Obama's Father was from Kenya, so if you are going to make up a myth about Obama being born abroad, what better place than Kenya?
Implausibilty, and even impossiblilty doesn't deter the making of myths if there is a strong emotional reason to believe them, as in this case.
What I don't understand is, of all possible places in Kenya, why make Mombassa the birthplace in your myth? If you look at the map of Kenya, it's on the other end of the country from Obama Sr.'s village, 762 miles away, which would make it a minimum 2 day train ride. Probably longer, since Kenyan trains were very fast in 1961.
I suppose you could argue that there were no hospitals in Obama's village, so they had to travel to a major city. But Nairobi was closer, and more modern.
So why Mombassa? Not only is it completely implausible; I don't see the emotional appeal. Why Mombasssa rather than his father's village? Or why Mombassa rather than Nairobi?
Help me out here, birthers. Why do you reserve this special place for Mombassa in your belief system?
You are being deceptive again, the long form can be used to verify doctor and hospital or informant signed the form.
Second Hawaii had long forms readily available until 2009 and in fact were necessary for Hawaii Homelands applications, when they curiosly changed their policy. Why did they change their policy? What are they hiding?
Long forms are currently available and always have been and you know it.
In any event, the US Constitution in Article 2, Section 1 says “No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States.”
It seems to me that a birth certificate documents place of birth and age. An official document verified by a state that shows that information is going to be acceptable to a court of law. Those kinds of verifications happen all the time in courts across the nation.
Whatever the US State Department accepts from a state for the issuance of a US Passport has been accepted as a valid proof of birth for many a year now.

First time I was in "Kenya"(?) in the sixties, it was completely implausible that I would be landing at Granny Sarah's village 700+ miles away!!
You see, dummy, I arrived by the natural way at that time by a vessel floating on the sea and propelled by large screw, and closest entry was the port of Mombasa. At that time, when you still was not dry behind the ears, traveling by freighters was not uncommon!!!

That's an unintentionally interesting angle. Obama, Sr. was present in the United States at the behest of the Kenyan government. Might the whole natural born debate be mooted by his legally recognized son being plainly excluded on the basis of Constitutional language dealing with children of foreign diplomats, etcetera?
I assume Obama, Sr. had his school expenses paid by the Kenyan government. It's logical to assume that he received a stipend of some sort as well.

And finally, Obama’s original birth documents CAN be subpoenaed without Obama’s permission if anybody truly, really wants to see them.
Barack Obama Senior traveled to Hawaii solo and not as a part of any other group, so evidently Kenya could pay for such a solo trip or any other trips to and from Hawaii and Kenya.
