Obama will be on vacation in Chicago this Memorial Day, instead of presiding over Memorial Day ceremonies at Arlington. This may be the first time since the Civil War that a president will not pay respect to the veterans passed.

No problem, I’d find it insulting if he did show up. Let him show his true colors and play golf with a Hollywood star that day. I don’t want to see pictures of his sorry ass at Arlington, that’s for sure.

If he’s BUSY enough to go golfing, Paul McCartney concert, blah blah blah.. Then he’s clearly got time for Arlington. The idiot makes Clinton look like a decorated war hero. Just when you thought “the bar couldn’t go any lower”..

That our Commander in Chief will not be involved in the ceremonies at Arlington is deplorable. The man is too self-centered to realize that he is the living representation of our country. And, he’s not living up to the job. Shameful and I’m ashamed of him.
He knows he is the living representation of our country. He has gone all over the world telling anyone who will listen that American exceptionalism is dead. He sees that as one of his main triumphs.
I’m glad he won’t be there.
The fewer of these events he attends, the happier I am. The less time that he, Manchelle and their snotty brats spend in the White House, the happier I am. I don’t want them to get too comfy there.
Well with this Gulf coast oil mess, and how Obama has not been handling it, it looks like things are starting to fall apart. November cannot get here soon enough.

he’s done this sort of thing continually...remember he was the first prez since the 50’s that didn’t attend the Medal of Honor innaguration ball...instead, he went to a rapsters innagural ball.

Lame excuse for him not going to Arlington. As much as he loves flying somewhere everyday, he could have AF1 fly him back for the ceremonies and then back to Chicago for his vacation. He’s already used about 3 oil fields worth in fuel from traveling in 16 months of being president - what’s one more round trip?
