On Wednesday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents detained 25 illegal aliens who attempted to enter Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC. All of the were carrying fake identification and worked for a contractor doing work on the base.

According to ICE, two of the illegal aliens were being held in the Charleston County Jail, as they were wanted on other charges. The other 23 were released pending deportation hearings.

The foreign nationals were working for Palacio Drywall of Cornelius. The company is being used as a subcontractor for Caddel Construction Co. of Montgomery, Alabama.

Wonder what the airmen did for lunch that day, with all the cooks gone?

As stupid Americans make jokes about people in the country illegally, wandering around their military bases....During war time....

This is almost as funny when Bush's Homeland Security Chief was found to have people in the country illegally wandering around the inside of his private residence. During war time.

Sooooo....they caught 25, and let 23 go. And people wonder why we have over 20 million illegals here.

So when’s the USAF paying the fines for failing to do the I-9 form that’s been required for over 20 years?

Interesting... no reply to this point has said one word about the scumbag contractor that HIRED the wetbacks!

That SOB should be hung upside down by his feet and beaten bloody with a steel pipe.

And then jailed (if there’s anything left to jail).

Isn’t asking to see their “peppers” (fake identification) what La Raza and the DNC calls “racial profiling”? I guess Kauliphonia will be “boycotting” South Carolina now. No All-Star game for them! LOL! They’re going to have to spend their money on something other than Major League Baseball.

It wasn't a joke, it was an ironic observation that this very problem of illegals on bases is historic and pervasive.

This won’t be deemed as news worthy as when illegals were caught working for contractors which were working for Wal-Mart.

So I guess that identity theft and entering a military facility with a fake ID is no longer a crime.

The General contractor isn’t at fault, he probably has it in his contract that all workers will be legal and have proper identification. Since the job is obviously a govt project it probably pays Davis Bacon wages, meaning the sub has to submit a certified payroll each week with the ss# etc. on it and signed by the owner/officer of the subcontractor. The sub needs to be investigated because there is no way he was paying those guys appx $26.00 per hour plus fringes. He was pocketing the difference.

Isn’t detaining illegal aliens because they’re illegal aliens profiling? Can they do that?

MORONS!!! They're just going to disappear.

Hold them all until the paperwork to deport them is completed and then escort them onto a plane and get rid of them, far away.
