A GOP unknown is in striking range of Barney Frank
The Washington Examiner ^ | October 1, 2010 | Byron York

Posted on 10/01/2010 9:26:36 AM PDT by Dayvester

Sean Bielat, the Republican candidate for Congress in Massachusetts' 4th District, has had just one conversation with his Democratic opponent, Rep. Barney Frank.

It was in August, at a parade in New Bedford. "I went up to introduce myself and said, 'Nice to meet you,'" Bielat recalls. "He said, 'I wish I could say the same, but you've made this personal. You've been attacking me.' Then he turned and walked away."

Bielat remembers thinking that was a little odd, since at that very moment Frank's Web site featured plenty of attacks on Bielat. But the brief encounter set the tone for what has become an increasingly contentious campaign. The nervousness plaguing Democrats nationwide has touched even Frank, a 14-term incumbent who hasn't faced a serious challenger in years...

Very impressive young man...particularly when compared to that flaming pervert and downright jerk, Bawney Fwank!

“Then he turned and walked away.”

Isn’t that special. That is EXACTLY what my 2nd Frnkln congress-thing does when he doesn’t like a question from a constituent — he just walks away. Must be a Masshole-congress-thing trait.

In the meantime, we can donate...

You can. Unfortunately for me, Bielat, and Angle, and Webster (running against Grayson) all use the same broken donation site.

Our side has got to learn to use technology.

That’s odd. The donate link works for me on Windows XP and IE7. But, the horizontal scroll on the website is wonky...I have to scroll quite a bit to the right to see a whole screen. I do agree with you about our side needing better attention to technology, however. I noticed several typos on Christine O’Donnell’s website yesterday, as well as in her email blast the other day. There’s no excuse for that.

“Frank ought to be worried. And Bielat does have a chance. This 4th District in Massachusetts went for Scott Brown fairly decisively.”

Well, Frank ought to be worried (and he is certainly acting as if he were, even calling in Bubba to campaign for him), and Bielat does have a chance (although he’s obviously a heavy underdog), but the MA-04 did not go “fairly decisively” for Scott Brown: Brown only carried it by like 1%.

Well, you could help this brave guy by donating some amount, $5, $10, $20, or more.

Barney made it personal by being the arrogant ass that he is. Bounce Barney!

Thanks for the ping!

I’ve already sent Sean Bielat a donation.

Getting rid of the ‘Banking Queen’ would benefit all Americans. I urge other FReepers who are able to support Sean Bielat!

Being an optimist...I wonder could the problem be too many trying to donate.

I got frustrated also so sent checks to their Offices.

“Frank, a 14-term incumbent”

‘Inexcusable. Absolutely disgusting.’

There is NO better argument for term limits.

Once we own congress we can repeal those pensions.

Congress critters do NOT deserve pensions and free health care. If they want that, they can get into the private sector and work for a living like the rest of us.

Congress critters need to be treated just like us. When we lose or leave a job, we lose the benefits. This, along with Term Limits will GREATLY reduce not only the government budget bottom line, but drastically reduce corruption and graft.

If we don’t get these things done, along with repealing the socialism the Democrats have force fed us, we are sunk as a Nation.

"Send him packing!"

Fudge Packing!

This Socialist Pig has destroyed companies, pensions, and our Economy almost by hisself cuz he is the "Wit of the Congress."

No bigger scumbag walks the bowels of the Capitol than this marble mouthed Constitutional arsonist, Barney Frank.

But really, I do not have a strong opinion on him at all.
