Rasmussen Reports ^ | November 12, 2010 | Larry J. Sabato

Posted on 11/12/2010 11:40:24 AM PST by kingattax

The wreckage of the Democratic Party is strewn just about everywhere. President Obama’s carefully constructed 2008 Electoral College breakthrough is now just broken, a long-ago memory of what might have been a lasting shift in partisan alignment.

President Cloward-Piven doesn't need a second term, and never planned on one.

This is satire. Sebato is bullish on an Obama second term. Even the estimable J-Rub of Commentary's Contentions (and PJmedia) got punked:

If President Obama is smart, he will try to salvage his term in the White House by announcing now that he will not undertake a hopeless campaign for reelection, and instead form a bipartisan national unity government to try to hold the nation together until his successor, inevitably a Republican, is selected in November 2012.

Now those are words I can agree with.

Yes, we can't write off the Kenyan yet.

In all seriousness, the blather that we have been seeing regarding nervous Democratic insiders pressuring Obama to make a decision about running for re-election by December seems to be silly to me. There is no way that Obama doesn't run for re-election (even if criminal evidence against him surfaced).

If Obama "punted" on running for re-election, then he would really become an instant lame duck. The only question would be: is Joe Biden up for opposing the Hildebeast?

Exactly. He’ll be moving on to international scene next year...after he gets Israel to sign on to that “peace” agreement. Riding the wave of worldwide anti-semitism & finally “earning” his Nobel “peace” prize, he’ll have left the intended destruction in his wake.
