Obama did the best in the EC that he will ever do next time.

His current approval rating is below 35% in most of the swing states. And his approval rating in those states is even lower against white people and senior citizens.

Obama is toast. And Karl Rove and Mitt Romney know it. That’s why they are in such a gay rage panic over Sarah Palin.

Strange guy (?) that one.

He's (?) the only conservative (?) I have ever heard supporting Soros.

How someone does that and claim to be a conservative is beyond me.

I have been saving money since Gov. Palin resigned as governor. I have enough saved to take a leave of absence from work and work for this woman free of charge 24/7 if she so gives me the honor and the privilege.

I have never cared or believed in a politician the way I do for this woman. I don’t know if its all the attacks on her that drew me to her but her vision is my vision for our country.

Nobody is perfect and if this woman is elected as our next president it will take the people supporting her 100% to get our country back to greatness.

It will have to be like her first 18 months as governor. The dems and GOP were so scared to go against her because she had the support of the people of Alaska. Because of that support she was able to get most of her agenda done before McCain selected her as VP. An agenda that was good for the people of Alaska.

She will need that type of support from the people as President and must stress it over and over again that in order to get her agenda passed and to move this country back to greatness she will need to hear that the people support her agenda.

I know what you are thinking. The people fell for Obama and look what happen.

What is the differene between Obama and Palin??

Obama had no record to look at before becoming POTUS. Now we know that Obama wants a slave country so he can control the will of the people. He wants the people to think they can’t survive without the government being their care taker.

Palin has a 16 year record that she will finally be able to showcase. She wants the people to do great things to make the country great again. Palin believes that everybody that can work should work. She believes that its people are what makes America great and not government.

I am a dem that will become a republican. I support this woman 110%.

Regarding your concern that she did not finish her full term as Governor, it should be noted that she has been drug through more crap and vilified more than any other public figure in the last fifty years. Nevertheless, the fact that she has never backed down and just keeps coming on stronger should tell you that she is no quitter. She has fortitude alright.

Could you and your family take the abuse that she and hers have taken? She not only takes it, she comes back swinging and wins.

I also know there are lots of people who aren't sure and are waiting to see what shakes out. I can handle that, it's an honest position to take.

I agree. But the Romneybots and Karl Rove need to be neutered immediately.

I think it is his cover. Most of his remarks are bland or else they are snarky. He has taken to not responding.

To think real conservatives are getting the boot, but this honest to God troll remains...well it is unbelievable.

Scares me.

Anyone who’s been on the many Palin threads for any time would probably recognize me as a strong supporter.

I’m not keen on the tabloidy aspect of her approach, but it obviously works incredibly well. I also understand the reaction of many in the upper-middle class here in the Northeast who are appalled by her family’s apparent standard of education, with her two oldest avoiding the regular college route after high school. But I suspect that is more a reflection of her husband’s level of education and Alaska’s being a working-class state.

Still, I see her as the sharpest, most strategically thinking political natural, adhering to the right governing principles, that we have had for decades.

The North Korea comment has me a little worried, however. It was unclear from the clip whether or not she had in fact confused the two. Either way, I need to see her speaking in-depth and comfortably on foreign affairs in the coming months—just to make sure that my support for her in 2012 is not misplaced.

I think it is important that we coalesce behind a strong conservative candidate early, so we don’t split our vote among our competing favorites—and let Mitt slip in.

So I want her to hurry up and go serious and in-depth soon. If she can thus reassure her supporters and fence-sitters, I think she can become our first truly conservative nominee since Reagan.

But she was for it in 2007. How does she get around that?

The data was found to be faked after 2007. Like millions of Americans, she switch her position after that.

Let’s hope Romney gets his butt handed to him early, and that Rove comes begging hat in hand after the primaries are essentially done.......

I agree. I could easily vote for Sarah for President, but at this point I wonder about the level of vitriol she inspires from the left....almost as much at this point as the anti-Bush vitriol. Running Sarah might just produce a similar election scenario from last election where there were probably a lot of ‘anti-Bush/Repub’ votes in addition to pro-Obama votes. Granted, all Repub/Conservatives get an anal exam by the media, but they have a 4 yr head start beating up Sarah and it’s going to take it’s toll especially amongst the supposed ‘independents’ who are weak kneed to begin with.

Would Conservatives (like me) love her? Undoubtedly...but Conservatives by and large vote in large percentages regardless, so you’re not going to get many more votes from them...the question is going to be, how do non-conservatives (or the so called conservative leaning independents) feel about Palin?

Running Palin at this point would be little different than running Gingrich or even Hillary! by the Dems...they are now highly polarizing figures that would need to overcome significant obstacles (public opinion formed by repetitive media bashing, right or wrong) to win.

Granted, running Sarah against Obama would be almost perfect in creating a stark alternative, but it would do a lot of Obama’s leg work for him in riling up the leftists...now if the economy tanks like it did for Carter against Reagan....different ballgame.

The one time I encountered him, he just stopped.

I have no idea if he got embarrassed, flustered, or just had his jollies and moved on.

Life can be strange.

Then how come it is linked at the Alaska site now? I did say 2007. Not after 2007.

Rove will go scorched earth on Palin regardless of what happens to Romney. Rove has severe issues with women that are rooted in his divorce or closeted homosexuality or both. For some reason, Sarah sets off that rage.

So, anyone who doesn't back Sarah Palin for 2012 is a troll?

Is this what Free Republic has turned into?

Who hijacked Free Republic?

But, she did quit. She did not finish her term as governor. She abandoned her office. Even among those who like and support her politics, that is/will be a big perceptual problem to overcome.

My response addressed both 2007 and after 2007.

What Alaska site are you referring and what is linked to that site?
