If there is an inherited homosexual gene, then the absence of this gene in an individual would provide his descendants with a survival advantage. That would be all you need to explain why homosexuals are only 2 percent of the population.

As a Christian I must point out that America isn’t the entire earth. There is nothing biblically special about it. I believe China already has more committed Christians than America by the sheer numbers although far from it by proportion.
you don’t need the bible to establish homosexuality is abnormal. (you don’t stick your ear in your ear etc.)
even the much vaunted in nature examples occur only in the absence of the opposit gender. Balance the genders and behavior returns to normal. (see also long term prison populations)

I agree with you the U.S. is not biblically special.
China does have the largest underground church- I don’t have the data as far as numbers; but I would probably agree with your statement. Our missionary in Taiwan said the converts in China are especially zealous in following the Lord.
The significance of the U.S. is that it has been for the past 200+ years, the greatest platform for the Gospel in the church age. Now that it is waning, with no prospect of another such nation to takes its place, it appears the stage is set for the church get called home.....soon.
It serves no purpose once the church has lost its ability to transform the world. Israel learned the hard way, twice.
Of course, that is my opinion; good men can disagree.
But no nation has ever recovered after having proclaimed homosexuality as acceptable (i.e., reversed its decision and taken a path towards biblical morality).
