Sounds a little more polite than Alinsky...I suspect the story line... what is being told is probably much cleaner and less harsh than the alternative, the real truth. Alinsky would have splattered the underbelly on the front page in large font and on billboards in their neighbor hood. Alinsky didn’t understand the meaning of mercy and would have made a total train wreck of this guy’s life, his wife’s life and his son’s life. This is being done with a touch of finesse.
The SOB has hurt the entire new GOP majority. Between the Gifford shooting, Egypt and now this, they are having trouble finding their footing. Ane he is crushing the economic message. Scandal always trumps substance.
I hope Cantor pulls the entire conference together and raises unmitigated Hell. They will all stand or fall together. Lee’s actions were stupid, reckless, and utterly selfish to his colleagues. And now the GOP will have trouble holding the seat.

My phone and emails have not stopped since this happen. People asking who will run. At this point I am hearing the “Party” are circling around Jane Corwin... She is alright but also around here all they look for are R’s that can self finance and will tow the “Party” line no matter what. That is Jane. I would consider running for this seat if my own party wouldn’t fight me over it. Me and the local GOP don’t get along, I force them to be accountable.

I don't - and I'm not waiting for more facts to comes out. I'm formally ready to declare this sleazeball as a first class jerk. If he wasn't already on the outs with his wife, he certainly is by now ...and so it should be.
We don't need him as a democrat talking point for however long the media can string this out and his wife doesn't need him in her life either.

By a vote of 277-148, the House failed to pass the extension, needed 290(2/3) Yea votes to pass.
We can’t let up pressure now. This won’t be the last we’ve heard of the PATRIOT Act renewal in the House.
DC is crawling with young things in ardent pursuit of a Congressman, any Congressman. It’s a ‘power attracts’ thing.
I would say this has ruined his marriage, but it was probably not that healthy (at least from his perspective) if he was doing this. However, he has disgraced his wife in a very public way, and his child will have to live her life with the taint, as well. It will pass from the headlines, but not from their lives
