Bachmann and Palin are the only two that will even touch core issues, big gov,the UN,The IRS. So they will both be attacked.

im pretty sure most folks being interviewed by the lefties realize the birther issue will be brought up...if it were me, i would have a copy of the long form HI birth certificate from 1961, and then we can do the Compare and Contrast to that stupid COLB.....why doesnt anyone do that?
The last couple days have made things pretty clear to me.
Sarah flat out calls the president a LIAR multiple times in her Madison speech, and Michelle in her interview says that she “takes the president at his word”.
The contrast is pretty clear to me, yet you have all these Bachmann supporters defending her saying she is playing this 11th dimensional chess where she actually either doesnt mean what she says or she means the opposite of what she really says ...
Between her flip flopping recently on the budget debate and the birther issue it just seems to me she is nothing more than a female version of Romney.
Sarah was the only one going after Obama hard during the 2008 campaign, and she has been the only republican going after him hard since. If you are on this site and you claim to be a conservative and you claim to want somebody to fight against the Obama agenda than I dont see how you can support any of the current probable candidates over Palin.
Rep. Bachmann is doing the right thing to steer clear of this Trump fiasco. Intelligent political figures would not link to Trump in any way. Loose cannon Trump is promoting himself. When his investigators return with all that “unbelievable information” he will tell the world all about it. ;>)
I don’t much of Bachmann as a potential Presidential candidate, for several reasons (not the least of which is the way she cut off Boehner at the knees while he was holding firm in negotiations on the budget — the “riders” were far more important than the cuts, because the only way to turn the budget mess around is to start defunding the organs of the left.). But I also don’t like seeing anyone being beaten up for things unjustly.
People are reacting to the headline, not the actual facts. Steffie claims he has a document that would settle things, and Bachmann basically calls him on it, saying that all Obama needs to do is submit such a thing and that should settle the issue. Everything else is fluff.
Disappointing, but probably smart politics by Michele.
She walked the mainstream media out on a limb painting her as some extremist whack-job and then sawed the limb off behind them.

Taken in context, I believe she is reacting to a hypothetical long form BC being introduced/presented by obama, which is what Trump is asking for, and then, since it says what barry says it says, then, we move on. Reasonable enough request.
Her response about merely taking the president at his word looks like a nice, polite dig at the president and a nod to their college from SC for his astute observation about the president's honesty.
I'll agree that the birth certificate issue is intriguing, but it is far down the ladder from all the other unconstitutional laws and executive orders that have been shoved down our throats in the past 2 1/2 years or the laws and executive orders that could/will happen in the next 1 1/2 years. The only thing that makes the birth certificate issue important is that it could blow up in our faces if Obama really does have one. Y'all are being fed rope by Obama, the liberals, Democrats and the MSM. Once they have fed you enough rope, they will hang all of us with it. Regardless of who wins the Republican nomination, I will vote for them in the election. I just hope it's not a birther or Ron Paul for fear we will lose to Obama again. If Trump goes 3rd party on us, Obama wins.
The headline is misleading. She said that the cert should be introduced - which sounds an awful lot like presentation of evidence to me.

Consider the difference between Trump and Bachmann when Stephie tried to pull the same stunt with The Donald. He absolutely wouldn’t back down and repeatedly pointed out the difference between a COLB and birth certificate etc.
Bachmann, being a Lawyer, must not have researched the difference between a COLB and an actual Long Form Certificate. The COLB is offered to anyone with a kid who does not have an actual BC. It makes them legitimate supposedly. She knows better than this.
I picture Obama’s family, knowing that their little bastard was not a US citizen, so they had the COLB issued to make him legitimate. So he could reap the benefits of being an American Citizen, welfare, College, etc,. Then they called the news paper and had phony birth announcements published to back their scam.
Bachmann stepped in it big time.
