Debra Burlingame has been a real heroine of mine. SHe is eloquent in her writings and makes her points very well.

Holy crap. Burlingame is the sister of the pilot that crashed into the Pentagon on 9/11. During her meeting with The Obummer today she told him that they wouldn’t be there today in observance of the killing of OBL if the men who interrogated Khalid Shaikh Mohammed hadn’t done their job. She asked him if he could give Attorney General Eric Holder a differing opinion about prosecuting those men for doing their jobs. He said he wouldn’t do that, turned his back on her and walked away.

If you say he's dead and take him to a secure location where no one will ever see him again, you can torture him at your leisure and get information out of him for years without being harassed by Eric Holder.

We all know he’s not a team player. That’s obvious by his glomming the credit for the OBL affair. It also sucks that according to Ms. Burlingame, Obama’s film crew was there. But was that the proper forum for her to make the Holder statement to him? Considering her high profile among the 9/11 victim’s families, there were many more appropriate opportunities to make her position known.
It’s obvious why President Bush didn’t attend.
I was not aware that any actual prosecutions had been initiated. Have they?!

President Barack Obama will visit El Paso on Tuesday, a White House official confirmed today.
The president will then travel to Austin later in the day for a fundraiser. Information on the purpose of his trip to El Paso was not immediately provided.
White House officials said they will release more details later. There is no word on whether the public can attend.
(Gee, I hope those people who lost everything are dems and really pizzed about getting crap in their faces.)

I was at the NYC rally in December 2009 in the freezing cold and met her. She was one of the speakers in front of 60 Centre Street protesting the KSM Trial in NYC.
We stood in the freezing rain and I remember that day like it was yesterday. if I knew how to post pics on this site I would. I still have them.

John Lott: And because I knew he was also supportive of the Chicago suit against the gun makers.
John Lott: He just grimaced and turned around and walked away and that was the end of the conversation. And that’s the way many conversations went that I had with him and I believe just in general he really disliked talking to people that he regarded as conservatives.
