The dismembered body of a missing 9-year-old Hasidic boy was found at two locations in Brooklyn and police this morning arrested a suspect in the slaying -- who had the child's severed feet in his freezer, sources told The Post.

Before I attended this years Israel Parade in NYC, I would have been surprised as well.
Since I had a "sign", the NYPD considered me a "protester" and told me where my "pen" was (in NYC, they like to "pen" us in)
I was in the pro-Israel "pen" and across from us were the hasidic Jews, along w/ the pro-palistine peeps, and a few mooslims calling the end of the Israel State.
In my pen were Jews (one from Israel) screaming across the street, in Hebrew, to the hasidics. Each time I asked them what they just said and they told me.....NOT very nice. Interbreeding and sleeping w/ whores were amongst some of the comments.
Oh, and the NYPD lady officer standing in front of our "pen" told us this year, the hasidics were tame. A couple of years ago they actually had signs to "bring back the ovens".

Yikes! That’s one per minute - just under 1% of all deaths.
That may seem like a lot, but in hunter-gatherer societies of the type we all sprang from, death by homicide is close to 25% of total death rate.
On the other hand, I raised my kids in semi-suburban/semi-rural florida and I wouldn't let them out of my sight for one moment.
I wouldn't do it here, either, because that's the way I am.
But the point was that this place is made up of neighborhoods. The only place where it's really not is where it's infested with college students and interns -- the sort of people who come here to be bad boys and girls for two years on dad's dole, puke all over the sidewalks every Friday and Saturday night, and then move on.
No, I didn't "spring" from one of those, and you might want to ask your anthropology professor for a refund.

Shooting’s too good for him. Let some depraved murderer in prison have 30 minutes with him...enough time to have him hacked into pieces small enough to fit in a suitcase. If murderers had to die by the method they killed, I’m pretty sure we’d see a dramatic drop in this kind of horror.

Not all Hasidics are like that. For a number of years, when I was a young woman working in NYC, I worked for Hasidic lawyers and their children. They were deeply kind to me although very demanding and hardworking. At lunch hour, they would gather together and pray.
I worked very hard for them and once I made a really bad mistake on a legal document. I can still remember the head of the firm standing over me saying: “Boy when you make a mistake, you really make a mistake!”
I loved working for them.
My heart breaks for his family. May God hold this child in the palm of his hand and may He erase the horror from the minds of his family.
What does that have to do with their belief that Israel should not be it’s own state that belongs to the Jews?
They believe Israel cannot “be born” until the Messiah comes.
Not often that a Jew goes this far off his nut.
A dumbass jury will not be able to convict the person who had the little boy’s FEET in his FREEZER!!!! God rest his soul.
I doubt any of us could comprehend and absorb the stories of 1500 murders a day in our daily news. It would be an endless litany of woe leading to permanent depression for all.
The ultra-orthodox live in a world of their own. It’s a very closed society and harshly patriarchal...like the godfather. It stays within itself and I think most of them are nuts. They still arrange marriages and G-d help you if you do not obey.

I just could not believe what I saw at the parade. I was shocked.
Funny thing though, most of the “paradees”, when marching by, went to their side waving their Israel flags in their faces, singing their songs and dancing their dances to their face.
I really had no idea about hasidics until I went to that parade. The Jews in our “pen” explained it all to me.
They thought I was Jewish and some were surprised when I said I was Christian. I met a great group of people that day!
No, he will be an Hasidic and my bet would be involvement of the parents. Gut feeling, we live with them in our community all summer. They are not the same as Orthodox although they cliam to be Orthodox. A very un-nice people as a general rule. No civil law applies and all laws written down by Moses are streached to the inth degree of the word not the spirit. RIP!
Just heard perp is Aaron Levy (sp?) and he lives with his parents. No word on his age. How likely is it that this poor 9 yr old was his first victim?
There could be many more victims involved. Someone so brazen as to do this to a 9 year old, would go after anyone.
YIKES!!! That man was the like biggest grossest monster. But, compared to what this man did to this little boy.....Just makes me sick to think of what this child went through. Dear Lord I hope he didn’t suffer long.
