Medved is about as far to the left as I care to read or listen to, and even THAT is pretty damned rare. As far as his support, I believe he has said that if he had to vote today he’d vote Pawlenty.

I stopped paying attention to anything Medved has to say five years ago, when I heard him on his radio show wildly supporting Bush’s amnesty plans.

- she talks like a real American, not some pseudo intellectual who has never managed anything besides an ivory tower faculty meeting
- She knows how to play the media; one can mock her time in a newsroom but she's been there, done that, being a sportscaster has been of more use to her than a journalism degree would have been. Witness who knows when to drop out of sight when in risk of becoming too omnipresent.
-she lives life on her own terms; we Americans admire that, even in people we might vehemently disagree with on political/economic/religious matters.
-She’s a strong woman, closer to the actual original ideal of ‘feminism’ (”A woman should have an equal opportunity to do anything a man has an opportunity to do) than some Harvard academic who gets the vapors at the merest whiff of an insult.
-Did I mention she's a damn fine looking woman?

The typical Michael Medved slam at Sarah Palin. Insulting Palin’s supporters as ‘rightwing true believers’, dismissing her accomplishments as governor and making a false comparison to Obama, who, in 2008, had fewer accomplishments on his resume. Medved tries to pretend that the comparison to Obama is only valid in 2012, although he does make it clear that Obama’s presidential ‘accomplishments’ are hardly worthy of respect. Medved’s erroneous and insulting conclusion is that Sarah Palin is only getting media attention because she is an attractive female and if she were a dumpy older woman - or a dumpy man - no one would care about her. What a crock. Apparently Michael Medved hasn’t figured out that Sarah Palin brings more than a pretty face to the 2012 presidential race, including her accomplishments, her integrity and honesty. For conservatives, Sarah Palin brings conservative values she has lived, not simply talked about.She has authenticity and yes, charisma. Medved pretending that Sarah Palin is nothing more than a media curiosity is absurd. The left doesn’t waste a lot of time attacking Mitt Romney, the alleged ‘front runner’ in the GOP nomination race. A man who is equally photogenic but Medved doesn’t seem to believe that matters unless it applies to Sarah Palin. Medved’s hostility to Palin is almost palpable. He can go pound sand.

Medved is a Rino supporter. Whomever has the longest horn Medved is your radio guy. Right now that is “Say anything to get nominated Mitt”. You have to be deaf and blind to support Mitt as a “Conservative”.

I always suspected Medved was full of BS from the few times I listened to him on the radio. This editorial just confirms it.

I don't support Palin 'cause she's sexy or pretty. I support her because she's "me." She's an honest, hard-working family person with a traditional up-bringing, good working class common sense, and Christian ethics. Furthermore, she has a history of bringing down scumbags....something that desperately needs to be done on a National level. In contrast, Medved is a complete idiot.

Medved is very moderate, he didn’t just settle for McCain, he truly wanted him for president over more conservative people, that is always his goal, and he seems to dislike women in government, although he might be OK with moderate women.

1. She’s truly conservative.
2. She’s tough (i.e. she has guts, and the inner peace and sense of self not to take it personally when she is attacked).
3. She’s happy. She has a cheerful, likeable demeanor that keeps her toughest political statements from seeming mean-spirited.

I tend to think (also after having read her books) that all three of these come from her deeply-held faith in God.
