Michael Medved: Yale. Sarah Palin: Idaho. You really don't need to know anything more than those two facts to predict how Medved will view Palin's presidential prospects.

Just another psuedo-sophisticate who thinks that simplicity equals ignorance.

Guess what, Medved? We’re smarter than YOU are, and we’re going to restore America!

Go, Sarah!!!!!

ejdrapes, you posted this to try to perpetuate the Big Lie that Gov. Palin said anything wrong when chatting about the Paul Revere tour she just took with her family. But you know that.

That was quite the catty little hit job.

Can’t believe he’s beating Paul Revere’s noble steed when that animal has been dead lo these many years and that statement debated until it’s in tatters.

He spent an inordinate amount of time talking about looks—Sarah’s looks, other women’s looks.

Quite the unsophisticated screed for such a supposedly smart guy.

Wondered the same thing about drapes ... he negates his own tag line daily with little digs at Sarah.

And Medved sounds gay in that column. Is he?

I suppose Medved is a Romney supporter?

Actually, he is...

Among the the least intelligent/most ignorant people I have ever met, the majority have had ‘big name’ college degrees. The hands-down smartest and most creative had either a ‘normal’ college or even no college degree at all.

The bigger the ‘name’ on the degree, the more apt I am to mistrust that person’s judgement and ability. I have rarely been wrong. Pretty pathetic that it’s come to that.

I believe that you may be correct.
“...the worthy but craggy Senator Olympia Snowe of Maine?”
RINO is written all over that comment, Mr Medved, you cockroach.

It seems Medved goes out of his way to attack Palin. What he never says on his program or writes in his columns is what are the issues he disagrees with Palin. I know he supported the Bush admin amnesty plan and even claimed Reagan would have hated all the talk about tougher immigration laws. How he knows this he’s never explained. The fact is there are only a few other candidates in Palin’s league as far as accomplishments and dedication to conservative ideals. Mitt Romney is not one of them.

1. The article is capitalized properly at the site. It somehow got garbled when it got posted.

2. Authors don’t always create their own titles. Sometimes they leave it up to the editor to create the title.

“Meow. I suppose Medved is a Romney supporter?”

...very likely. This is a thinly-veiled hit piece on Gov. Palin. The author also degrades those who support Gov. Palin, by calling their support: “unwarranted”. What kind of arrogant tripe is that?

Why not support her? Not her turn? Not a professional establishment politician? No high society pedigree? Not one of the boys (or not even a boy)?

We must make ourselves familiar with Sarah Palin's record for leadership while she was in office in Alaska. The lefties are scared but they don't remember why, since the dipsticks in the press have buried her record so deeply.

We need to get familiar with her record, then remember that they know that she is likely to send them home (maybe even to jail), and you'll know why they fear her. Medved hasn't paid attention to the facts. He's just repeating what he's heard from the lefties regarding her qualifications.

He was a McCain supporter in 2008.

So was McCain's running mate (who also supported McCain in his Senate primary in 2010).

But do you mean he supported McCain in the presidential primaries? Because I suspect most all of us voted for McCain against Obama.

Every time I hear about the Paul Revere “stumble”, I know that the critic is a shill. I am certain that Medved knows the truth now, that the bells and warning of the British is accurate, so he’s depending on influencing the clueless dupes among those who read his column. Medved is about as sincere as Arianna Huffington. Palin is about to swat these phonies like gnats. Bob

Medved uses a common debating technique, conceding that she’s not as bad as her fiercest critics say to get some Palin supporters on his side, and then unleashing his own fusillade of criticism. Only one problem: Palin folks are among the most informed in the entire electorate, and we can smell BS from the next county. LOL Bob
