WASHINGTON -- The Associated Press has learned that more than 20 Navy SEALs from the unit that killed Osama bin Laden were among those lost in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan.

There are no words to describe the sorrow for the blood of husbands, fathers, sons, mothers, uncles, daughters and aunts, that this corrupt government has sacrificed for power and failure. They have ruined our country and taken lives for absolutely nothing.
Each and every person in this administration, Congress, and all of those that are running things now, should feel profound shame for what they have done.
I feel nothing but disgust and revulsion at our government.
I don’t know how they look at themselves in the mirror as the day closes for the crimes thay have committed against the American people.

Exactly. And as pointed out elsewhere, why in the hell are 31 special forces in one single helicopter?! This all stinks to high heaven.

A few years a nephew, now retired CSM, linked me to a USArmy website providing stats on safety issues, injuries/fatalities due to accidental causes, etc., from which it was clear to me that accidents involving helicopters, in training and other routine non-combat ops, as well as crashes in combat zones not directly resulting from enemy action, are responsible for a large number of military fatalities.
Another major cause of deaths among milpers in stateside posts is off-duty motor vehicle crashes, mostly incidental to intemperate use of alcoholic beverages. Even in combat zones, a significant number of fatalities are due to non-enemy-involved accidents or mechanical failures.
This is just too convenient, for my tastes.....
Something is radically wrong. Why would the Pentagon advertise the fact that it was SEAL Team Six that went down ?

I agree...a set up. Just like the 7 CIA guys that were killed. Moles....plenty of them.
And it happens just the day after US is downgraded...hmmm...talk about changing the conversation. How convenient is that also.
