Agree, just don’t think Romney can beat Obama. He tries to be too nice. We need a street fighter this time.

I love Sarah Palin but too many women don’t like her and won’t vote because of that dislike.(jealousy, IMHO) I think she could work well in a Perry administration. Sarah is a team player.

They crucified the only perfect Man who walked this earth. I may not agree with all of his positions but sure as the sun rises, like what I heard today from him.

No more mister nice guy trying to prove he’s a statesman.

Think he’s a fighter!!!! That’s what we need to defeat Obama.

“Just last night a yet unannounced candidate was talking about eliminating the Department of Education and realigning the role of government with the Constitution.”

Who? This is my biggest pet peeve. WTH good is the Dept. of Education anyway? Don’t all the states have their own Education departments, anyway? What a colossal waste of money.

I’m watching, but like Reagan and Bush Jr., he supports Amnesty.

Reagan did not support amnesty though he did compromise with the dems on it...providing they would SECURE the border, which of course they promptly failed to live up to their end of the bargain (surprise)

The bill was called the Simpson-Mazzoli Act

cair supports him. That leaves me out.

I don't think CAIR "supports" Gov. Perry. CAIR was just acknowledging that a whole bunch of Muslims in Texas support him. I gather some of them attended Perry's National Prayer Meeting last week.... So CAIR had some 'splaining to do.

Probably CAIR regards these Texas Muslims as seriously undermining its policy agenda....

Which is good news for the rest of us; i.e., that not all Muslims living in the great State of Texas are fanatical jihadists.

I watched the speech on MSNBC (yeah, I know).

As soon as it was finished the Studio Reporter (Not a pundit) started ATTACKING PERRY, saying he has the 47th-ranked schools, Texas leeaks the most dangerous chemicals in to the environment, blah, blah, blah.

Like I said, this wasn’t a pundit, it was the MSNBC HOST. They threw anyway any pretense of not being biased, long ago.

Republicans should start demanding equal time on NBC for the non-stop 24/7 Democrat campaign commercial on MSNBC.

Fox at least TELLS YOU what is opinion, and what is news. MSNBC disguises electioneering as news.

I am on record here, fwiw, that she will endorse Perry.

If that happens, FR will go into full meltdown mold, and Palinite heads will be exploding. Personally, I think Sarah is just in it for the money. Think about it, if she trully had higher politcal aspirations, I don't think she would have bolted the AK guvship for payola.

It seems all her actions are more strategic toward making money than politcal aspirations. It is easier to be a rock star than be president

A little foggy in keeping up with the news but what did our dear leader do? I commend Rick Perry for doing this.

It will be interesting to see how Perry does these next few weeks. I’m curious to see how much he’s upped his game. Observing him all these years in Texas, he has tended to wear thin pretty quickly. But he’s animated and scrappy and will very likely look good next to damp squibs like Romney/Pawlenty and such.

Personally, I don’t consider him a total ‘RINO’ as some others do. Yet, after the experiences with that idiotic Trans-Texas Corridor and his rather two-faced approach to the illegals problem, I really can’t totally place my ‘trust’ in him. I’m just grown so innately wary, having been burned so many times by GOP Establishment types.

After 4 years of the intellectual egg head Harvard types led by Hussein

Of course, the dirty little non-secret is that Obama is far from bright. I cannot wit for when Perry's reported poor grades are brought up, that he declares that the people want to see the pResident's transcripts

**He sounds just like George Bush**

Correction. He and George Bush sound like everybody else in West Texas. There are plenty more who sound like they do.
