“I am simply amazed and saddened at how hateful fellow freepers can be to one another when a candidate is being discussed.”

Totally agree. I thought 2007-08 was bad. That was nothing compared to the infighting I am seeing now.

I was hoping Palin would run. I still intend to cast my vote for her.

I have a better idea. Why don’t you vote for Obama. It would be more efficient.

Agreed. The only thing I can think of is the powerful banksters of the world threatened the lives of her and her children if she did run.

I’ve ripped off the Palin 2012 bumper stickers and removed my Palin 2012 email signature. So saddened now, as I realize that without a Palin presidency, this country is going down sooner rather than later.

I will NEVER vote for Romney, another McCain scum-sucking creature. I don’t like Cain’s 999 plan because I don’t want to give the Federal Govt any new tax revenue via a new national sales tax. As another poster recently said, this year it’s 999, next year 10 10 10, then 11 11 11, etc.
Nope, can’t vote for 999/Cain. Maybe it’s just best to let this profoundly corrupt system go down, and rebuild from the ashes. Might as well vote for Ron Paul. At least I know he is honest, wants small gov’t, low taxes, and really would CUT CUT CUT all those unconstitutional US Departmental agencies. Yes, bring the troops home. We’re going to need them as we watch America go.

God bless ya’ll.

>> “What you said. Lets begin dealing with reality folks.” <<

.
Its not a reality that can be dealt with. We have no leader willing to lead us; all we have is midget brains, crooks, and dreamers. Not one of the candidates is capable of leading us anywhere but down.

"Dear Sarah,"

I know how you feel, I am having a WTF moment myself, and I like you will have a hard time taking anything Sarah says seriously again. She said that if no one that represented her views (tea party views) was running she would run. Well there is nobody representing tea party views running, except maybe Cain and that is a BIG MAYBE. Sarah has jumped the shark big time, and sadly it will be the country that pays the price. I have never seen a politician willingly commit political suicide before, it ain't pretty.

My guess is that both Palin and Christie do not want any part of leading a failed nation, and the cascading sovereign default crisis will crush us in the next few months.

Yep...and both know far more than we are privy to. CAn't help but have wondered many times why would Palin have said.."if we're going to go down we're going to go down fighting" when she was in NEngland for the first viewing of her movie. It struck me hard then.. that she knows how bad things really are. And even today I just can imagine the Gop letting Obama take the hit when it all falls down....becuase the Democrates plan could come in in the nexxt election and smelll like a Rose

Reasonable post—I was a big Palin fan too but now that she is out I suspect the sun will still rise tomorrow.
And like the vast majority of Palin people on FR,I'm getting on the Cain train.

Now look for the PDS nuts to become CDS nuts—heck it's already started.

I for one am doing all I can to make sure Mittens doesn’t become the nominee.

ALL FREEPERS TAKE NOTE!!!!

I am sorry that Palin did not jump in, but we have TWO enemies right now.

First, we have to defeat Romney!

Second, we have to defeat Obama!

Pour your energy into those two acts of conservatism!!!!

Time to get on the Cain Train!

Amen! Herman's the only one left that can bring our out of control country back to stability. Perry & Romney sure as hell aren't. I was listening to Rush today. He had soundbites from McConnell and Bohner. Listening to their utter tripe, I thought, "C'mon Sarah!" Now, I guess not. I'm all in for Herman!

Cain and Palin are in many ways cut from the same cloth. Both have the heart and soul of true God fearing America loving Patriots. And both have unquestionable Conservative credentials.

Cain will be a terrific choice for Palin fans.

Seriously, ya’ll are a pain in my ass, always wanting this and that. ;>)

I hope you're a woman ‘cause I feel weird having a man calling me Honey.

I hope now that Palin is not a distraction, we can get back to discussing politics in a rational fashion. I don't like all this animosity among people who are suppose to be like-minded.

“She could have been the first American woman President.”

####

And still might be.

She is young. She will remain charismatic, dynamic and can only add to her formidable list of experience and accomplishments.

God’s time frame is ALSO not our own.

I’m very sorry to hear about Sarah not running. I really can’t tolerate the thought of obama winning again.

I can’t even stand to see his arrogant face or listen to his attitude. I’ve had arguments with old friends over obamacare.

My guess is that both Palin and Christie do not want any part of leading a failed nation, and the cascading sovereign default crisis will crush us in the next few months. Our total tax intake cannot even cover the bond debt service, in fact, the total income of all of our citizens cannot cover it.

My second post re: 2012

I don't think that poorly of either Governor Palin or Christie. Of all the candidates or non-candidates of this season, I think either would find it a challenge.

I was hoping Governor Palin would run but she's not so we go forward. There are no remaining candidates who I support now but be rest assured only Paul or Huntsman will NOT get my vote.
