Is Sarah Palin Really Out of the Race? (Sal Russo, TPX)

Is Sarah Palin Really Out of the Race?

Dear Tea Party Supporter,

The liberals are still chortling because they think they have gotten rid of Sarah Palin by her decision not to run for President in 2012. But I have news for them when it comes to Sarah Palin: “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.”
.
Governor Palin has said from the very beginning that she is going to use her voice to advance the conservative cause in America, and I know she means it. When she was picked to be the Republican nominee for Vice-President, there was not a more exciting day in the entire election cycle for conservatives.
.
She electrified us from that first speech, her acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention and in her travels crisscrossing America advancing the cause of freedom.  We were honored and proud to have Governor Palin appear at many of our Tea Party Express rallies across the country. She was a knockout whether we were in Searchlight, Nevada, Boston, Massachusetts, or Manchester, New Hampshire.
.
.

.
I had the great honor of starting my professional life working for Ronald Reagan beginning with his first campaign to win the Republican nomination for Governor in 1966. Those were bleak days for conservatives, and Reagan with his eternal optimism gave so many of us hope that there was a brighter future.
.
But the liberal elites couldn’t stand the thought of Ronald Reagan succeeding. He was viciously attacked as a know-nothing actor who possessed extreme right-wing views that would bring destitution to the poor and nuclear holocaust to the world if he were ever elected President.
.
They sure got that one wrong. I think Ronald Reagan was the greatest President of the 20th Century!
.
While the constant attacks on him took their toll, they didn’t slow him down one bit. He knew that his plans for a stronger, more prosperous America were right. And he had the determination to win over the American people and then make the changes our country needed. He also said that every generation will have to fight the collectivist mind-set that will want to destroy the America he called that “shining city on a hill.”
.
We have the fight going on again now. President Barack Obama has been a disaster – maybe even worse than the President Jimmy Carter that Reagan defeated in 1980.  We are not going to have Sarah Palin as our nominee to defeat Obama, but I know we will have her on the front lines to make sure we restore in Washington the principles that have made America great.
.
.

.
I have to admit that her decision left me with some sadness. But then I realized that this wasn’t the end, but it was the beginning of a new chapter of Governor Palin standing up for America. She will be out there supporting good, solid conservative candidates for public office. When the book is written on the 2012 election, I bet there will be a big chapter on how effective Governor Palin was in helping to win elections across this great country.
.
The Tea Party movement has been successful because almost everyone in the movement has been willing to swallow their ego and work hard to elect the best people to public office. This is going to be a tough fight, but if we all work together we can do it. I know Governor Palin will be right there with us.

Am I wrong about her not running? A number of freepers have agreed with me, others disagree. Are you saying this bus tour is a real presidential run?

RE :”Of course you’re wrong(about this being a presidential run bus tour). Just look at who’s agreeing with ya”
Then think of how foolish I will look when she announces.

I haven’t watched the movie yet, but I do know that lots of movies and music are hard for me to hear the narrative and lyrics because of the background sound being so loud.

I got flamed (big time) right before it was released for asking if it has subtitles (SDH) because many documentaries don’t and since it was a theatre release as opposed to TV, it may or may not have CC either. I run into this more often than people would think.

I’m deaf yet some Palin supporters thought I was insulting her rather than answer the question. So I am asking again, does it have subtitles?

Rove has been divorced twice...in fact, it was Dana Perino who announced his second divorce. Hmmmm...

Sorry, who's Dana Perino? Unfamiliar name ....

I commented that what they lacked in quality and principle they made up for with a "deep bench" of reliable, controllable hacks.

Rather like the teams fielded by Bear Bryant in the early 60's, when Alabama would dress 70, 80, 90 players, and Bear's third string would probably be ranked about No. 11 in the NCAA by themselves.

Then Bryant would go into pregame interviews and smokestack about "mah puuur little boys" and how they couldn't match up in size and strength with the lumberjacks playing for Nebraska. Not mentioning that the worst man on his squad was good for about a 10.2-second 100.

I have taken that to mean, that she will endorse Romney should he win the nomination.

Yes, her "ABO" pledge -- news to me, btw -- has to have Karl Rove licking his chops. The damage Santorum accepted by giving Rove and Pres. Bush the Specter endorsement they demanded ("party loyalty" -- hmmm, what about O'Donnell?) set him up by hurting him with his Pennsylvania base.

If Mittens gets the nod next year, Sarah could help herself by taking a very, very long extended public-service tour of duty in Antarctica, or maybe an extra-extra-long vacation retreat in Australia's outback, going walkabout with Todd and learning to make fire with sticks among the aborigines.

Anything to avoid appearing in public, or commenting on, or being solicited for support for, Mr. Latex Rictus.

No, her “card” was She’s the Only One Who Has All the Right Values to Be President. Think about it.

She holds this card whether or not she’s in the race.

One thing I’m not going to forget very soon, was that last ditch call for money about four weeks before she made it official she wasn’t running. That spoke volumes to me.

I have never been a Romney fan, but that bus tour that found her desperately looking for validation on the day Romney made it official, wreaked. Jump in, fight the guy all you want. Kick his ass and I’ll be glad to see it.

Pull this juvenile stunt, not so much... at least she’s revealed herself to have been a glory hound all along

King maker? Really? Ding-a-ling maker maybe. Self inflicted...

Better yet it was Sarah-PAC fund-raiser letter claiming that giving was the best way to show our support for a presidential run, when the money couldnt even be used for that run.

Then on Greta when asked she claimed she doesn't even know what goes out in those letters, as a way of avoiding the question(she was starting to get real questions on FNC).

It was a wild ride at the end and fun to watch closely and see who were the most gullible humans on the planet that still claimed it all made sense.

Yep, and big FoxNews paydays too.

You know what, she’ll pull the same thing in 2016 too, and some folks will still buy into it. Sad.
