Purpose of FR and why we can never support Mitt Romney
vanity | Oct 15, 2011 | Jim Robinson

Edited on 10/15/2011 1:54:20 PM PDT by Jim Robinson. [history]

Our purpose and goal on FR is to restore, defend, preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States and to secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity!!

The goal of the domestic enemy (the left), i.e., the statist liberals, Marxists and progressives is just the opposite.

The goal of the establishment RINO is to gain control of political power, but not to otherwise rock the boat. The boat continues taking on water and listing sharper to port every time the left takes over, but the unprincipled RINOs do absolutely nothing to right her when they get a chance. In fact, the RINOs actually tack on plenty of their own unconstitutional baggage when they're in power and so our ship of state today is in pretty bad shape.

RINO Romney is one of the worst. We can thank him for being the chief architect of ObamaCare, which if we cannot get overturned and repealed, will finally accomplish the left's major objective of shredding the final remnants of our tattered constitution and ending our God-given Liberty forever (they think).

The liberals believe our constitution is a flawed document written in a different time for different circumstances by rich old racist white men and no longer applies to today's circumstances. They're now even trying to promote the idea that the constitution was never intended to limit or restrict the powers of government.

Like hell! That was and is its primary intent! And we who have sworn an oath to defend it, will defend it--from all enemies, foreign and domestic!

And that's FR's purpose and reason for being.

Romney may be a Republican, and that's questionable, because he's violated nearly every plank in the Republican party's official pro-God, pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Constitution, pro-Liberty platform, but he's definitely no conservative. In fact his record is that of a statist liberal progressive. And he's a total fraud to boot, with a nasty habit of lying--about everything. He'll do and say anything if he thinks it will help him get elected. He's a two-bit, unprincipled political whore.

Here's Romney's record on some of our primary issues of concern compared to Obama's:

Issue: Obama Romney
Pro-Abortion check check
Gun-grabber check check
Gay rights check check
Gov forced healthcare check check
Tax payer funded abortion check check
Man-made global warming check check
Liberal judges check check
Liberal appointees check check
Ted Kennedy pal check check
Proven liar check check
Fraud check check
Liberal Progressive check check
Enemy of Reagan/Bush check check
Enemy of the tea party check check
Enemy of Liberty check check
Defender of the Constitution no no
Conservative no no
Works across the aisle no yes
Architect of ObamaCare no yes
Domestic Enemy check check
Useful idiot check check

All of the above plus much more is documented in the RomneyTruth files on FR. Click the RomneyTruthFile keyword at the top of the main page. Also watch the "New Romney Campaign Video" also linked at the top of the main page. Watch it all the way through. I even saw some clips I'd never seen before. Pretty damning stuff for anyone running for president as a Republican.

Let's face it folks, the elite establishment RINO corps hates the tea party, hates conservatives, are afraid and even ashamed to have us identify ourselves as Republicans, feel we are dangerous extremist, racist, bigoted bible thumping, gun-toting, flag-waving neanderthals. The tea party is the best thing to happen for America since 1776 and our tea party candidates are the best thing for the GOP since Ronald Reagan, but what do the elite establishment RINOs do? They declare us the enemy! They went after Sarah Palin and some of our other tea party candidates with bared fangs and talons. Karl Rove and company were and continue to be as nasty and shameless on the attack as the nastiest lying liberal. Sarah Palin was the most exciting new face in GOP politics in a century and would have been a landslide 57 state victory over the corrupt, lying Marxist/progressive Obama. But the good ol' boys, i.e., the elite establishment corrupt crony capitalist GOP bastards could have none of that. Instead, they've opted to go all in with a corrupt, lying statist/progressive of their own: Willard (the Rat) Romney.

Well, good luck getting the Rat elected without the committed grassroots, pro-life, pro-constitution conservatives or the majority of the tea party.

FR, for one, will not play that game. NO MORE RINOS!!

No Romney. NOT ON FR!! NOT ON MY WATCH!!

Should Romney be "the one," I'll vote for the down-ticket conservatives on the ballot, but I will not vote for an abortionist, gay-rights pushing, gun-grabbing, global-warming advocating, big government healthcare mandating statist/progressive for president!! I'd rather write-in the name of the tea party conservative who best matches my beliefs. Romney is no 80 percenter. Not even close! He's the backstabbing enemy within.

God bless America!!

Long live the Republic!!

Four years ago our votes were divided to allow RINO McCain to win.

We cannot let our votes be divided again so RINO Mitt Romney wins.

No virus there, and nothing about "Attack watch" either -- just the truth:

About TARP:

The Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) is a program of the United States government to purchase assets and equity from financial institutions to strengthen its financial sector that was signed into law by U.S. President George W. Bush on October 3, 2008. It was a component of the government’s measures in 2008 to address the subprime mortgage crisis.

Herman Cain’s position on TARP:

On October 20, 2008, Herman Cain wrote, in an article in North Star Writers Group’s Herman Cain column #133, that “Wake up people! Owning a part of the major banks in America is not a bad thing. We could make a profit while solving a problem.”

So, as President Cain, would Herman look into investing in toxic industries an assets to “make a profile while solving a problem”? Where would you draw the line in your administration?

The auto industry asked for $50 billion dollars worth of bailouts from the US Government in September 2008 for healthcare expenses and to avoid bankruptcy while Congress worked out a $25 billion dollar loan. Chrysler filed for bankruptcy protection May 1st, 2009 and General Motors filed a month later. Herman Cain, would you still support bank bailouts through the TARP program and government intervention in the automobile industry, when the US taxpayers lost over $11 billion dollars by bailing out General Motors?

Wake up, Herman Cain! Owning a party of a major corporation IS a bad thing! We took a LOSS and didn’t make a profit while trying to solve a problem!

What makes Herman Cain any different than a liberal or so-called “conservative” that uses the US Government to write them check or give them a loan for their bad business behavior that is causing a loss to company stock, that is causing people to lose jobs, etc.? The whole part about the “Tea Party” political group, that Herman Cain affiliates himself with, so amazing because it makes people and businesses accountable for their own behavior and business practices rather than relying on the US Government and taxpayers to bail them out when they are having problems.

So Herman Cain, would you have supported the automobile industry bailout when you supported the Troubled Asset Relief Program, citing it as an investment?

I honestly believe that you would support such an action, because like with TARP, it rewards business owners like you with a second chance to turn your business around. All the major automobile manufacturers were realizing they were having issues, such as uncontrolled healthcare costs and the costs associated with unions, and ignored those problems until it got to the point of asking the US Government for a handout – much like with TARP. The banks and financial institutions knew they were handing out risky loans and giving homes to potential homeowners who the banks knew could not afford the homes.

Mr. Cain, you need to clear your stance on TARP because when you are put on the spot about it, you seem to avoid the question and play the blame game, such as you claiming that Ron Paul sends out an individual to harass you about your stance on auditing the Federal Reserve. Just make a firm stance on a position and keep repeating it. Are you going to support auditing the Federal Reserve or are you going to tell one group one thing while telling another group another thing? Are you going to still support TARP, even now when it’s a catastrophic failure, or continue to evade the question?

Herman Cain, your supporters do not realize it, but most people realize you are a Rick Perry style wolf hiding underneath your Tea Party sheep clothing.

Romney has more baggage than DFW Airport. And seriously you liked him because he LOOKED ‘presidential’?? Wow, the party has been infiltrated by idiots.

Well, I may be an idiot in your eyes but I’m smart enough to know that power is in
the hands of our congress and not our president. Ever since the line item veto was
removed our presidents have become nothing more than window dressing. Do you
really think Romney would be stupid enough to stand in front of a yellow shower
curtain when giving a press conference?

Apparently your shallow mind thinks the only reason I liked him was because he
looks presidential. And I guess you failed to see where I wrote that I no longer
support him because of his past policies. I guess you are another surface reader
who only reads the first couple lines of a post and then ready – fire – aim.
I’ll bet you eat the frosting off the cake and then trash the rest.

Perhaps you should concentrate on reading the entire contents of a post, then think
about what you read before trying to impress us with your self perceived mind
reading skills.

Very informative! Thank you! I read it. I believe because 1804 came down like a hammer it caused some problems kind of all at once, leaving business holding the bag and no workers. “Who wants to work three weeks.” When the illegals left they took their money and labor elsewhere. Maybe Texas where is money gets a smile and labor a bear hug. But, yes, I like the law. It works, but maybe too fast, leaving holes in bottom lines for small businesses who can not replace the labor. You know what I mean. Everybody took the hit. We will soon find out, in these instances, if it is, or is not, true that Americans will work in these jobs that satisfy illegals completely. Thank you.

100% agreement with this. I've taken the pledge not to vote for Romney under any circumstances--primary or general elections. I urge others to do likewise, and then make that pledge known far and wide.

The key will be to make sure it's widely known that a Romney nomination will result in a large number of conservatives supporting a 3rd party in November 2012.

Yes and you are the one who claimed he looked ‘presidential’ as a reason to support him. That IS shallow on your part.

I read the whole post. You say you no longer support him, but if push comes to shove you would vote for him, right? That is support in the end.

Point is, if we want this country to survive we need to make sure Romney doesn’t get the nomination, if he does it will be the end of the GOP.

There is no way I would ever vote for Romney, I know to much about him and his culture/religion/background to ever cave in on that.
