It is time for Real Americans to Occupy Black Friday

The Occupy mob has shown its true face with its call to “Occupy Black Friday” and boycott retailers.

The consequences of a boycott like that, if it were effective, would not hurt the rich. It would hurt the employees of the stores. Of course, the Occupy mob does not care about them. Their goal is very simple. They want to crash the economy. The more people they can force out of work, they believe the greater will be the demand for revolution.

We have to answer them.

Our answer is simple.

We will Occupy Black Friday for America and Real Americans.

Black Friday has its name because that is the date, traditionally, that most retail stores go from a net loss for the year to a net profit. Those profits go to pay the wages and salaries of our neighbors and friends. We must stand with them.

This Friday, go out for Black Friday and do some of your Christmas shopping. For many, the idea of shopping on Black Friday violates your 8th Amendment rights against cruel and unusual punishments.

I am with you on that.

I hate crowds.

But this Friday I am going to go out and support some of my local merchants. I am going to out and specifically try to shop as some of the chains the Occupy mob has targeted.

We need to fight back against the Occupy mob and make their “Occupy Black Friday” a complete failure.

Remember the motive of the mob. They do not want to protest the “rich.” They want to destroy the free market economy and replace it with a socialist model. All socialism has ever created is misery and poverty, while the free market has created the greatest amount of wealth for the greatest number of people in history.

The Occupy mob is not made of Real Americans. These are people who hate America and hate everything America stands for. They want to bring America down. We in the Tea Party movement love America and want to see America and our fellow Americans lifted up and made great.

We cannot stand by and let this attack on the American system go unanswered. On Friday, no matter how much you hate crowds, make it a point to go out and buy at least some of your Christmas presents.

Help save the jobs of your neighbors. These are the jobs that the Occupy mob wants to kill.

Nope.

Christmas gifts this year will be receipts for the $ I give to “Occupy” Wounded Warrior or “Occupy” Fisher House.

Try the local sporting goods store for the skunk juice.Deer hunters use it to mask their scent.I hear that if you pour a 2 ounce bottle of the stuff into the air vents of a car,the owner will be very upset.

Because the OWS’ers only travel in a closed circle they can’t come to the realazation that they are truely the less than 1%’ers. The true reason that they haven’t gotten a following with the exception of the media, is that the true 99% are busy working and living. Even the unemployed and poor are busy with that living part.

Nope. “Black Friday” has been and will remain “Buy Nothing Day” as far as I’m concerned.

If you can’t find the skunk scent, stinkbait will work just fine.

I am sick to death of people trying to sell me stuff. I know that's how they earn their living, but pestering me to the point of distraction is not a legitimate activity, as far as I'm concerned. As the years have gone by I've heard the Christmas music start earlier and earlier and the retail more and more frantic to the point of total obsessive-compulsive insanity.

I'm also sick of everyone in America getting up and driving as a means of celebrating Thanksgiving, Christmas, and apparently every other holiday. Is home so terrible that come hell or high water they must go drive like a bunch of gosh darned lemmings?

All these holidays seem to do these days is make the Chinese and the Arabs even richer and us poorer and Jesus a distant third if even that much. Grrr!

I know a lot of people on FR aren't that way.

Is it better for Americans to stay out of debt, to keep the money in the USA and out of the hands of the Chinese or better to spend it buying stuff from Asia, on things people generally don’t want or need? We all need to make our bed and decisions on that.

I’m not going to be out there on Black Friday because it’s just not in my interest. I don’t care what others decide to do. If I buy anything it will be from local stores not the big box stores that represent China. Or we may decide to do a more traditional Christmas and do things for others instead of buying low quality imports.

Sorry guys - but you’re both wrong. This is one woman that has gone black friday “shopping” once in the past 30 years. just to be supportive I will do some local stops on Saturday, but as far as Christmas shopping is concerned, I was done nearly 3 weeks ago. My husband, well he’s a different story......he ordered my Christmas present yesterday, from some company called Reuger, not sure what that is, but he seems all excited about it.............

Not all Americans live within walking distance of family members. What is so gosh awful about wanting to be with family, even if it means driving?

All these holidays seem to do these days is make the Chinese and the Arabs even richer and us poorer and Jesus a distant third if even that much. Grrr!

Oh really? My husband and I drove a day and a half last year so that our (then) 12 year old daughter could meet her grandfather for the first time. I think Jesus was high on list of our priorities, don't you?

You won’t like that “Reuger” thingy. Trust me.

If you want me to take it off your hands, let me know. I’ll even pay shipping.

LOL! Yes you did say women are different, but you said that in regard to spending in comparison to men. Oh we are, or at least this woman is - my husband spent more in the 10 minutes he was on line making that one purchase I mentioned than I have spent in the past 3 months and my shopping has included gifts for every member of his and my family and splurging on our own daughter.

All kidding aside, I know exactly what you guys were saying and in general you’re right, I just never fell into that kind of category because I really hate shopping and we spent nearly 3 years barely keeping a roof over our head, so I REALLY know how to make Lincoln squeal as I squeeze that last penny. I’ve always been frugal, but have gotten even more so these past 3 years.

Happy Thanksgiving. I’ll be spending “black friday” with some friends I haven’t seen in 5 years, my husband will be working, and our daughter will be with her only 1st cousin who lives on the East Coast.

Small Business Saturday is an initiative pretty much driven by American Express. Check their website; if you register and use their card on SBS, you receive a $25 credit toward your bill.

Even though you're a couple thousand miles away, thanks for supporting the local merchants.

As an aside, under the first two years of obamanomics our Black Friday has come in the week after Christmas. We're probably doing better than a lot of folks.

Hmm, the ‘leaders’ and politicans, and Union thugs have called me ‘sonsabitches’, told me to go ‘straight to hell’, the alleged ‘news’ media have called me a ‘wahhabist’. And much more.

Nah, not gonna shop.

Well, I hope your overspending husband at least had the gall to overspend for the family - heh. You do sound like a great person - just have to keep your hubby in check.

Sounds like you and your family are going to have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I wish you the best. (There are always exceptions - :^))...
