Last Chance to Elect a True Conservative
Townhall.com ^ | January 2, 2012 | Douglas MacKinnon

"Okay. It is now officially crunch-time for conservative voters. Time for them to grow-up, stand on principle, admit there is not a perfect candidate, cast aside the pretenders, flip-floppers, and flakes, and unite behind the most genuine traditional values espousing candidate in the field. That being Texas governor Rick Perry."

DO wish we would be playing OSU for the championship. Had to lose to IS. I’ll pull for Stanford but will be just as happy if the Cowboys win. Don’t expect the same type score in LSU vs bama game. It’s going to be a thriller.

Get it depends on your definition of conservative: Here’s Ricky’s...

“Santorum used much stronger language to warn Georgians not to vote for Huckabee or McCain.

“The reason I got in this race is I wanted to make sure a conservative got elected,” Santorum said. “I’ve been saying for a year that it isn’t John McCain. I think more and more people are coming to that conclusion—that it’s not John McCain. The alternative—the only alternative—to stop the McCain twisted talk express is Mitt Romney.”

"Nor do they compromise our sovereignty by using socialism to subsidize foreigners."

You are hanging the wrong cowboy with the wrong charge, buckaroo. Hang the entire state of Texas. It was the elected representatives who do represent the people of Texas who voted to allow the same tuition rates that residents of Texas get to apply to resident students who happen to be children of illegal parents. These residency rates are not a subsidy, just like when you go to Target and buy a wide screen TV on sale. It is a price reduction given to residents of the state. And, Target does not care what citizenship status you are when they sell those wide screen TVs. Just ask my friends from Canada when they shop at the Bellingham, WA Target.

Now go along little doggie and learn about what it takes to become a resident of Texas after you relocate from another state.

Governor Perry is our only conservative with the executive experience of a successful governor in our second most populous states with 24,782,302 residents living in the Lone Star state. Yes, hang them all buckaroo.

Since you don’t like the governor, and you don’t like Aggies, and you badmouth innocent women who can’t respond to you, why don’t you just get out of Texas? You’re not wanted.

There were many people who thought that out of the bucket of s#!t that we had to choose from in ‘08, Mittens was better than McLame. DeMint, Rush, Levin et al. There was no Obummercare then and McLame was and still is a POS. This election cycle, we have real Conservatives running. We don’t have to sell out this time or compromise.

If I were president I’d uses a combination of exclusive orders and blanket pardons, to shut down & destroy (at least temporarily) every unconstitutional activity.

Then I would sow salt into lawless earth by having my AG file an expensive suit against each and every one of the former federal employees who took a job for the Federal Goverment engaging in the lawless activity.

The aim not being so much to get the Federal Employees in black robes to cut down their own goverment, but to punish the same enablers of a lawless federal goverment with crippling legal costs.

Naturally every leftist and half of conservatives would screen bloody murder claiming it to be the inquisition.

To that charge I would expose the lawless acts theses people commuted and all the other lawless acts that might might follow. Reminding them that my acts exerciser power within the Federal Goverment and over the same Not the people.

That if any segment of the population wants theses programs & services forced upon them by a goverment they got a perfectly good State & local goverment with which to impose the same with.

That picture of Gov. Rick Perry’s wife, Anita, reveals a woman with the strength to support her husband in the White House. The combination of beauty and strength is quite a combination.

3-3 Alabam/LSU games are a lot of things but not “a thriller”.

More like boring soccer scoring than football.

Funny, your comment made me think of DU troll...LOL!

Well, let’s have a look at Rick’s quote:

“The reason I got in this race is I wanted to make sure a conservative got elected,”

His choice was Mitt Romney. Are you in agreement with Rick that Romney is a conservative?

Thrilling, yeah sure. As long as we have the BCS we’ll continue to have boring “championship” games; all other sports, professional and college, have playoffs.
Did you see Governor Perry flip you off?
