John McCain Concerned About "Negative" Tone in GOP Race

Arizona Senator John McCain, the man who lost to Barack Obama after trying to pull the "my friends" card on both his opponent and the media, is expressing concern about the negative tone of the GOP primary race.

Former Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) said Sunday he’s worried the negative tone in the GOP campaigns could help President Obama win a second term in the White House.

“I think there's reason to be concerned about it,” said McCain on ABC’s This Week.

"I've been in very tough campaigns. I don't think I've seen one that was as personal and as characterized by so many attacks as these are.”

Reality check: McCain wasn't tough against Obama, hence the reason he lost. Romney would be smart not to take McCain's advice on this issue.

Hey John, Go find that anonymous Senator that said if Romney lost Michigan the ring leaders of the RINO party should pick a new candidate and have a talk with that MF.

He is hurting the party.

Oooh, call the concern council...McShame is now also using the Alinsky tactics of Rombama, SanFranNan and the like.

I'm concerned about why McShame defends Bamster more than he defends our liberties.

It would not surprise me in the least if McLame found that anonymous Senator in the mirror.

Rockefeller v. Goldwater

In the words of Nelson Rockefeller's public relations head, Stuart Spencer, "We had to destroy Barry Goldwater as a member of the human race."

I recall that following the 1964 election a small number of liberal media types asking did they go too far trying to destroy Goldwater.

It don't git no more personal than that.

Well, well, well, here we are again Kaslin, I'm going to say it again whether anybody likes it or not, but this latest garbage out of McCain's piehole proves once more what I said this past week, which is that America WOULD be better off if the guy firing that NVA missile at him in '67 had been a better shot.

Our esteemed Founder himself has properly and correctly labeled McCain as a "treasonous bastard" and for that reason alone I have absolutely no compunction at all for calling it the way it is.

In a parallel universe somewhere, I can fondly picture Senator John Effin 'I Served In Vietnam' Kerry posturing for the cameras and saying "I call upon the government of Hanoi to provide a final accounting for Lt Commander John Sidney McCain, we need to know where his remains are, and bring them home to Arlington National Cemetery".

Now go on and call me 'evil'.

John McCain is very upset. The GOP RINO-plasty is about to dissolve, and this really upsets John-oh. A major paradigm shift, Washington GOP POLS are about to loose their “common ground” of selling our nation down the tubes and destroying the Constitution.

The more McCain whines, the more its good for our nation.I love the sound of McCain whining!

Santorum HO!

Good point. And McCain should bring it up with state run media who want all the help they can get for Democrats to win.
