Not Another Dime

I’ve sat by and watched progressives attack our liberties, our Constitution and our way of life for long enough. No more.

For too long, conservatives have been content to sit on what we call the high ground while the Left racks up small victory after small victory until all we have left is the high ground under our butts. Enough.

They go after Rush Limbaugh, and conservatives say, “This is an outrage,” but do nothing. The most extreme, racist left-wing groups contact advertisers and sponsors and pressure them to abandon shows and networks that made them. And too often – and far too quickly in a lot of cases – the advertisers cave. If not for their spots on Rush’s show, I never would have heard of Angie’s List, Carbonite or many others who’ve bought into the faux anger the astroturf pros drummed up.

I’ve used ProFlowers in the past but never again. There are plenty of other options for sending flowers, just as there are options for every sponsor who sides with the Left.

Normally conservatives say, “I don’t support boycotts, but I’m never going to use company X again,” and have done with it. No more.

I am asking you to join me in never, EVER using any product or service from ANY company that sides with or caves under pressure from those who seek to silence us. And avoid any company that supports their hate-machine monetarily.

We learned this week that Color of Change, the race-based progressives group funded by George Soros and founded by communist/truther Van Jones, pressured Coca-Cola into abandoning the Left’s latest boogeyman – the American Legislative Exchange Council. ALEC helps draft voter ID laws throughout the country. That’s what it does – create model legislation, on request, to help state lawmakers.

I think that Coca-Cola is now produced in Mexico. Anybody know about that?

Perhaps you have not noticed that all soft drinks are produced regionally in the US. The soft drink companies sell these regional producers the syrup and use of their name.

” - - - I’m certain everybody knows the drumbeat is getting louder.”

Perhaps you are correct for the 50 % +/- of the voter age population who take the trouble to actually vote.

The problem is that what they hear is interpreted differently. For example, the OWS, and the Democrats hear the joyful sounds that FINALLY the evils of Capitalism are being overcome by the utopian will of a benevolent dictatorship, the highest good according to the brightest professors in Amerika.

For others, such as yours truly, it is simply a slow motion re-play of the Russian Bolshevik Revolution in 1917. (The first thing the Bolsheviks did was to attack the Russian Banks).

IMHO, most voters don’t even hear the drumbeat, but view politics as just a bunch of noisy adults who are behaving as spoiled brat teenagers on their dime.

As a practical matter, voters will vote based on the emotions generated by the Liberal Agenda Media, (LAM), and their own pocketbooks.

Since 50 % of American workers do not pay Personal Federal Income Taxes, (PFIT), most of them will vote to support the candidate who will not request that they “pay their fair share.” Thus, the base for Obama’s poll support stays around 40 %.

______________

” - - - - Did I miss your plan to overcome the drumbreat somewhere?

No, you did not because “the plan” is being rejected by voters in each election.

Winston Churchill stated it best: “Americans can always be counted on to do the right thing, - - - after they have exhausted every other possibility.”

IMHO, the central problem is the epic battle between Government and Free Market control goods and services.

For the past 80 years, ( from Social Security on), the Federal Fecal Finger has turned everything it touches into THE POLITICS OF DEBT.

As long as the majority of voters continue to vote for politicians who promise “Entitlements” in exchange for votes, THE POLITICS OF DEBT will continue to destroy America.

Dictator Obama is just speeding up the 80 year old destruction of America.

A dictator, such as Obama, only has the power that the people give him.

With 40 % of American voters clamoring for more “safety net” entitlements, it will be a long time before they reject the Federal Fecal Finger and choose “The Invisible Hand” of a free Market.

BTW, when does a “safety net” become a “hammock?”

BTW, BTW, ping me when you post the thread that you advocate. I think that it is THE direction that we need to pursue on FR!

A well designed statement by the author Derek Hunter.

we attack the gop because we are not republicans... we are conservatives ( some more hard line than others ) and we all know the gop is not conservative, but socialist lite.

It must suck to have no voice in the future of your country. Neither party speaks for you, so other people get to decide the direction of the USA. Pathetic.

Mike Huckabee is a nice guy, and I like that. However, that character trait will ensure that he won’t beat Rush.

If you are willing to put your name down (in other words cast your ballot) for those that would seek to destroy our country, merely because the other guy wants to destroy our country too, then you are part of the problem, not part of the solution... you do not seem to get it, so I will lay it out for you... it is us, the free citizens of this country, versus the socialists, and they come in all shapes, sizes, colors, sexes and political parties. I will not sign my name (cast my ballot) for a socialist, period. Like I have said, if you vote for the lesser of two evils, you are still voting for evil.

It would appear that you are a sheep, being led to the slaughter, happily unaware of what is happening. I am not a sheep, and that seems to piss you off. Whatever. I will not lend my name in any way shape or form to socialism. You can do what you want.
