Why the polls are all wrong. To set up the claim, "You cheated!"
30 September 2012 | Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin

Story after story has come out showing the populace somewhat evenly divided between the two Presidential candidates. However, on the street where the "real" people live, we all know the story is VERY different from the polls.

The ONLY people I hear advocating for the Democrat Party are the individuals like the "Obama gave us a cellphone" woman and they do not make up a significant part of the population. Very few cars now sport Obama stickers anymore. They've all been peeled off. The invective used by people when discussing the Democrat Party and Obama is severe.

The only conclusion that comes to mind, then, is that the polls are deliberately being biased to set up a foundation to claim that the election was stolen. It will be claimed that there is no way the vote could have been that much in favor of the Republican Party unless someone cheated. The truth, however, is that the only individuals supporting the Democrat Party or any of their candidates are individuals who want to see this nation destroyed or don't care if it is because of their own selfishness.

A subject worthy of debate. No matter what happens with this election, neither side is going to accept the outcome.

It does no good to be in denial. Even Rasmussen’s polls are awful this morning. And no wonder. Romney is playing to lose. His pathetic ads obsess over the “debt” which NO ONE cares about, or his “economic plan” when the Dems have successfully poisoned him with the “47%” video. He needs to attack Obama mercilessly. But he won’t. Because he doesn’t want to be called a racist. Sound familiar?

It’s also to set up the “illigitimate presidency” canard all over again, so Romney’s legislation can be blocked and his judicial appointments can be blocked. We’ve seen it all before.

Agree 100%.

If they know they are going to lose, then a simple loss is embarrassing and nothing more than that. BUT if they become convinced that they will easily win a huge victory -- if the result turns out to be a loss, then -- obviously! -- they were stabbed in the back! There was cheating! Riots are fully justified. Maybe Obama should just stay on past January!

Selling their followers on the idea that they already have everything all wrapped up is a last ditch effort to turn defeat into victory.

I have been saying the same thing, when Obama loses, the press and his sycophants will scream that the election was stolen from him by racism and touch voting machines! They will demand all types of investigation by Congress and the Press with no real evidence,

I said earlier today that we face a big problem:

Because of the constant pumping of the "Obama is ahead in all the polls" meme, if it does go down the other way, there is a certain contingent that is ripe for turmoil, riots, etc. claiming that the election was stolen.

"All the polls were the other way", they'll say.

You really think your neighborhood in Texas is indicative of the country as a whole?

Well, pretty much yes. Everywhere except your neighborhood.

He needs to attack [politically] Obama mercilessly

I agree, Obama needs to be hammered mercilessly on increasing taxes on the working poor, on ObamaCare taxes, on his "You didn't build that" comment, on his screwing jobs from the XL Pipeline, on telling the Catholic Church it has to pay for Abortifacients and Sterilizations (Surgery), on telling Black Churches they must support Gay rights, on telling Hispanics applying for citizenship they must go to the back of the line so that LGBT and Criminal aliens can go ahead of them.

It needs to be from different angles over and over so he and his sycophantic press can't get their balance back.

The Democrats are very vulnerable right now. They are so far left they Have to paint the Republicans as extreme so folks won't look at how far left they've traveled in only a few months.

It has been my observation that the polls swing wildly until a few weeks before the election when they tighten up to the real numbers. Every pollster wants to be the one that predicts the election the closest, whether it’s his guy or not. It gives them bragging rights and plenty of free marketing by the press afterward, but it’s only their final prediction that counts, which is typically the day before. Before that they can (and do) play fast and free with their numbers, blaming the wild swings on a “fickle and uncertain populace”.

I expect there's a lot of liberals who will meet their satanic father the same day this play at this again.

I’m starting to believe that all of Romney’s advisors are Democrats!

In 2008 the Obama stickers outnumbered the McCain stickers in my area by about 10 to 1. Today the Romney stickers an anti-Obama stickers outnumber the Obama stickers by 20 to 1.

Romney’s top advisors are primarily from McCain’s 2008 team. We all know how well that worked out. Those pusillanimous ba$tard$ advised McCain not to attack Obama, and that was so stupid because there was so much Obama-provided material to attack him with.

Who accepts what doesn’t matter. The result is the only thing that matters. Who cheated is food for the talking heads and the losing side.

If Romney wins by a nearly 2-to-1 margin as Reagan did against Carter, accusations of fraud will fall on deaf ears.
