“..The whole pansy a$$ system is broken. The psycho should have been dealt with before he was able to kill....”

Yep!! I agree. These chicken a$$es always pick “gun free zones” where they know the innocent cannot be defended. The only way to stop a gun is with a gun. I know some will disagree, but until the principal and teachers are packing, it will continue. They need to be trained and armed accordingly. Any psycho that tries to pull this stunt will be committing “suicide by teacher”. I know this is harsh, but enough of the pansy-a$$ ring-around-the-Rosie liberal BS. Life is tough and clowns like this must be met head on so start letting these people defend themselves and those entrusted to them.

All these government officials/politicians are surrounded by layers of guns, layers of armed security, armed drivers etc...

Yet most want to strip and disarm the law abiding citizens of their protection?

It's a mad house!

Hmmmm....

Conn. school victims shot by rifle multiple times

I think the new "rifle" angle is wrong based on reports this morning, BUT...

Catherine Urso, of Newtown, said her college-age son knew the killer. "He just said he was very thin, very remote and was one of the goths," she said.

Rational thought is not the domain of the frothing-at-the- mouth gun haters. And from what I see at Facebook, it’s not a currency the sheeple deal in, either. Organised anti-gun folks play this like a chess game, but I don’t think they’re rational.

So weird that there was an early case of a man killing his father, in a college class. Kid was “Aspergers” and living in Connecticut. http://whitewatch.info/2012/12/04/bow-and-arrow-killer-blamed-his-father-for-giving-him-aspergers-and-said-he-should-be-castrated-before-murdering-him-in-front-of-college-class-.aspx

All these uber-smart white males- who are suffering this disease of Aspergers. I think we need to be on the look out for new legislation about it. They are going to outlaw white males- any time now. I just know it.

Thing is this little altercation will end up being a butterflies wings. I know this isn’t a popular opinion here but I truly believe this is a watershed moment. Years from now when we have gun control. This will be the moment it started.

Buy your guns now because it’s coming.

I shouldn’t have said everyone.. Parents with an unstable young adult in the house, definitely. Discipline in the house at an EARLY age is essential. Kids have to know that THEY are not the boss. The liberals have made them BOSS; Schools rarely punish kids anymore.. So many issues.. No MAN in the house, moms allowing daycare to raise their kids, etc.. Hence all the problems.

THE WEAPON WAS MENTAL ILLNESS.

repeat repeat repeat evywhere until it sinks in.

the GUN_CONTROL PATROL - from the Pres. on down - hit the airwaves while those little bodies in Connecticut were still in the school!(”Never let a crisis go to waste” on steroids)

using the horrific deaths of these little ones for their own agenda. Inhuman.

How about MENTAL HEALTH control? These tragedies started after the mental health hospitals closed and put the mentally sick loose on the public - and treatment of choice is Prozac, etc, - these shooters have almost 100% been on Prozac and related drugs, which have a PROVEN side effect of suicide and violence.!

Yet none of these sleazy politicians - or the media - mention we need more control and treatment over the mentally ill - and who triggered turning the mentally ill loose on the public?

Pres. Jimmy Carter. - which is another reason it’s never mentioned. If these mental cases can’t get a gun, they use other means - like pipe bombs... It’s not the guns. I remember when the mental hospitals were closed - and mentally sick couldn’t be committed without THEIR permission! That’s like saying the drunk driver can’t be arrested without their permission.

post this link everywhere and anywhere you can. Email everyone. Challenge all media - including conservative to point out that is it MENTAL ILLNESS, not guns. Cite all the cases like this - all mentally ill and on medication proven to incite sucide and violence. -

MENTAL ILLNESS, DANGEROUS LEGAL DRUGS AND NO TREATMENT FOR THE PERPS OR PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC.

- There are not many people today who know or remember why the mentally ill not only don’t get the treatment THEY need, but who explode with such violence on the Innocent.

"President Barack Obama, who a day earlier was moved to tears on national television by the tragedy, called for "meaningful action to prevent more tragedies like this," but stopped short of specifically calling for tighter gun-control laws."

Wonder if he was moved to tears over the deaths of Brian Terry, Jaimie Zapata and 300 Mexicans?

re: post 56

FYI: Blitzer had Tom Foremen walk through what was known about the timing of the shooting by walking through a diagram of the school.

I saved the DVR from yesterday and just located the segment (on The Situation Room) on my DVR.

All of the action DID happen near the entrance to the school.

Adults (incl Princ, VPrinc, & school pyschologist) were having meeting near front left of school (didn’t pinpoint a room, but said near front office).

The 2 classrooms where shootings took place were the first and second classroom lining the hallway on the other side of hallway from the office area.

Just found a video, but I don’t know how to capture the diagram. Could someone please capture?

Here’s a fact you might not know – Connecticut is one of only SIX states in the U.S. that doesn’t have a type of “assisted outpatient treatment” (AOT) law (sometimes referred to as “involuntary outpatient treatment”).

Good find. Connecticut is one of only 6 states without the law. That is surprising.

Thank you for posting.

Sounds like we will know some kind of ‘motive’ soon. It will likely involve his sanity for sure and possibly some major family disfunction. The story about his mom taking him to gun ranges(if true) knowing that he had mental stability problems is just weird.

Also the fact that his brother had not spoken to him since 2010 is strange. Was the family scared that Adam might harm Ryan? Possibly.

This isnt a gun law issue, it is an issue about how to deal with our violent chronically mentally ill and developmentally delayed.

Reports have also emerged that the gunman, Adam Lanza had visited Sandy Hook Elementary the day before Friday’s massacre during which he was involved in an altercation with four members of staff at the school - three of whom are now dead.

The fourth teacher - and only survivor of the altercation - wasn’t at school yesterday and is currently being interviewed by investigators. It hasn’t been revealed what the argument was over or if it was reported to authorities.

The staff member’s testimony might be an ‘important piece of information’ for discerning motive in this case, reports NBC.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There is no mention of the mother being present at the “altercation” the day before -— only Adam.
Robert Licata said his 6-year-old son was in class when the gunman burst in and shot the teacher.
“That's when my son grabbed a bunch of his friends and ran out the door,” he told The Associated Press. “He was very brave.”
This young man would seem to merit a Carnegie Medal. While I have no love for the publix schul monopoly the adults in this outrage do seem to have behaved with courage and good sense. Two things in short supply from many Americans these days.
I have been wondering if his primary target was the school.
Maybe he went to grab the guns and his mother tried to prevent him from taking the guns. Perhaps she was killed because she tried to stop him from taking the guns. Suppose he told her in a rage what he was going to do to those teachers and when she tried to stop him he killed her.
