S.E. Cupp: ‘We can’t be afraid to call out Rush Limbaugh’
Daily Caller ^ | 2./14/2013 | Matt K. Lewis

Posted on 02/14/2013 10:13:16 PM PST by Mozilla

The New York Times has a must-read up on how the GOP is losing the tech war — and losing the youth vote.

But tucked away in the piece, I found this:

[W]e can’t be afraid to call out Rush Limbaugh,” said Goodwin’s fiancée, S. E. Cupp, a New York Daily News columnist and a co-host of”The Cycle”on MSNBC. “If we can get three Republicans on three different networks saying, ‘What Rush Limbaugh said is crazy and stupid and dangerous,’ maybe that’ll give other Republicans cover” to denounce the talk-show host as well.

But he's not the kind of guy that's going to win anyone over to our side.

He has volumes of callers who tell him exactly that almost daily.

If you want a real spokesman, read P.J. O'Rourke.

P.J. O'Rourke? Oh yeah, writer guy, right? Steve Allen-type humor only without the piano? Shows up most often these days in the NYT, Atlantic and on NPR game shows??

Didn't he co-author something with Woodrow Wilson? Or was it Flip?

Nothing I enjoy more than listening to PJ O'Rourke and enjoying a fine Werther's original candy. LOL!

But he’s not particularly deep, and shouldn’t be the voice of the party. That much I’ll concede.

Mat be true, but the rip job he did on “Dingey” Harry Reid was a thing of beauty.

Keep up the good work, Rush!

She is an atheist but, I’d still hit her pitiful azz.

Absolutely. Maybe more than once, um, depending.

It could be seen as an advanced form of the kind of "easing her into conservatism" that Cowboy Jay is talking about above.

LOL!

Oh great, so lets use the Romney, McCain, Rove, strategy because that worked so well right? The GOP is not going to win any elections by continuing to turn on conservatives. Until they get their sh*t together it’s going to be permanent Democrat POTUS rule.

>> She USED to make sense.....what happened to her?

She’s playing a role making a living like Juan Williams.

Why would anyone want to seem as dumb as Juan Williams just to make a buck????

What a shame! I think she is very attractive but now I will have to turn down the television volume just to look at her.

how the GOP is losing... the youth vote.

That's a good one. Given that liberals have a 13 year indoctrination program called "education" it's surprising that we even have a single conservative left in America. Toss in the media and that we hold our own is a God-derived miracle.

Give us just the last 4 years to undo liberalism and we'd have an 80% conservative majority.

Why should I trust a woman who can’t decide what bra size she wears?

CowboyJay: Don’t get me wrong. I’m a fan and appreciate his value to the party. Been listening to him since the early 90’s.

Lancey Howard: I’m calling you a liar.

Golly, it’s easy enough to prove one way or the other. I can think of a couple ways right off the top of my head.

1) Why “dittos”? (Zev Chafets got it wrong in his “biography” of Rush.)

2) Given that Chrissy Hinde(sp?) is a barking moonbat, how/why did Rush get permission to use “My City Was Gone” for his theme?

There are probably more I missed, but a devoted listener knows those (especially #1) off the top of their head...

If S. E. Cupp lives to be 100 she will never contribute as much to our conservative cause as Rush had. When you are #1 every one goes after you and this is certainly the case with Rush. Long live Rush and thanks for all you do.

I’d never heard of her until now, but I don’t think she was ever a conservative:

Cupp grew up in Carlsbad, California, a suburb of San Diego,[1] later relocating to Andover, Massachusetts.[2]

In 2000, Cupp graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. While attending Cornell, she worked for The Cornell Daily Sun. In 2010, she earned a Master of Arts from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University with a concentration in Religious Studies.[3]

Cupp is a classically trained ballet dancer and, over a period of ten years, danced with the Ellicott City Ballet, the Washington Ballet, and the Boston Ballet. Cupp describes herself as an atheist[2][4] who “really aspires to be a person of faith some day.”[5][6] She is of part Italian descent,[7] and enjoys hunting.[2] She currently lives in New York City.[2]

On September 1, 2012, Cupp became engaged to John Goodwin, the chief of staff to Rep. Raúl Labrador of Idaho. Cupp and Goodwin met at the 2008 Republican Convention and began dating in 2011.[8]

____________________________________________________________

So she’s from a liberal city in a liberal county in a liberal state. She attended a liberal college and got a Liberal Arts degree in a liberal subject, Art History. Her major extracurricular activity is to work at a liberal college’s liberal newpaper. Afterward she gets an “advanced degree” in Individualized Study specializing in relgion, but she’s an atheist. She resides in NYC, a liberal bastion and sanctuary city.

To balance that out she’s of Italian descent. I don’t think that automatically qualifies her as a conservative given Italy’s history of tyranny, fascism, socialism and poverty.

What exactly does she like to hunt? Is it conservatives?

She’s not a conservative by a long, long, long stretch. Dare I say she’s a liberal?

I believe it is several sizes bigger than a D-cup,
which Ms. Cupp appears to be sporting herself.

My question exactly. Call Rush out on what? I read the article and there was nothing. This is exactly what the liberals do, they denounce the mean tone of Republicans, they call the Tea Party extreme, that call for balance and bipartisanship.

But they never, never, ever back up what they say with examples. It is without content. SE Cupp, back up what you have to say or shut up.
