You gotta hand it to Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz for always being so optimistic about how the Democratic Party will one day rule the world. Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz tweeted that @BGTX Congrats on #GameOnFortWorth! Only a matter of time and hard work until #TX is #blue! #countdowntoblue #teameffort.”

If Texas ever goes Demon-rat, you can forget Republicans ever winning any national election. Ever.

Jeb Bush already predicted this would happen by 2016. And Cornyn will make sure of it.

As a Texan, I believe there is a possibility that TX will turn blue in the next few years.

Half the state of California seems to be moving here...........

Democrats USED to win down here. The operative word is USED. Over the past 20 years TX has only turned redder.

Don’t laugh. They already have Dallas. They have Houston. They have San Antonio. They have McAllen and all the border counties along the Rio Grande. What else is left but a bunch of cows? If you think it’s not possible, you better wake up.

She’s right.

Where in this country are conservatives being produced in any significant numbers?

What happens when existing conservatives expire?

What happens when illegal aliens are made citizens?

This entire country is going to turn blue, the tyrant overlords have no effective opposition whatsoever.

Demographics are not in the GOP’s favor.

The Democrats all know that the election infrastructure has been permanently compromised and that there will never be another fair election.

They will always manage to manufacture enough votes to win.

Once they get a firmer hold in DFW area, as in other population dense areas, it won’t be long before the votes in the area crush the honest law abiding citizens in the less populace areas of the state. Same in NV with Vegas and the unions pretty much dictating what the rest of the state has to put with. Stay strong my friends.

Current population is 22M, with 1M illegals.

Make the illegals legal, attract another 1M from Mexico the year after amnesty, and pretty quick you put Texas in play.

Split the libertarians from the conservatives like they did in Colorado and it is ‘Mission Accomplished’.

She might be correct, the way the GOP-e is behaving. I heard on Rush this morning that a couple of GOP "consultants" were hoping the SCOTUS would make Gay marriage legal and therefore the RATS could no longer use that against the GOP !!!!!!! Yup, similar to CR, Debt ceiling, and Sequestration - "we cannot really fight this issue, but wait till the next time they need a vote: we will really stick it to the RATs then".

The next time we get the same feeble "now is not the time or the issue to fight" response.

I remember when Texas went Republican Red, after more than a century in divided between "Progressive" and "Conservative" D.

The only way that could happen in the near future would be the result of Republicans in Congress being essential to the establishment of "gay marriage," or maybe a "pathway to amnesty." Because then the strong Conservative base in Texas (and I mean STRONG) might just give the GOP the finger and stay home, you know?

Oh... wait...

This is psychological wargames, pure and simple. Texas has turned as red as can be over the past 20 years. Of course the Dems are going to try to turn it back to Democratic but so far they have failed. And conversely, Republicans have succeeded in making it even more Republican.

I am tired of Republicans worrying and moaning about this BS. If you truly believe this, we might as well give up now and not fight the Dems on anything. What is the point of these discussions other than to bitch about how horrible the Republicans are at winning elections? If we go into elections with such a defeatist attitude, we will lose.
