DEMONIZING EDWARD SNOWDEN: WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON?
That’s easy. Neither
Could very well be a fight between Stalinists and Trotskyites.
It is a non-stop weasle attack. If she isn't willing to be identified she is lying.
It is a difficult choice. For the most part I am glad that Snowden put out the information, but he should have done so on an unclassified basis. Giving out secret information is so wrong for anybody. My other problem with being on Snowden’s side is that many liberals and Amnesty International are on Snowden’s side which make me a bit unsettled.
Snowden took the job so he could leak secrets. That’s treason.
However, it doesn’t mean that what the government’s doing doesn’t deserve scrutiny. That’s part of rule of law.
Let’s make him a martyr to both sides.
What is coming to light about the NSA and such is the real story. Not really ready to focus on figuring out whether the leaks were justified or not while I am still trying to figure out how the program worked and how much it was or wasn’t abused.
I consider Obama this nation’s enemy.
I’m going to stand on the side of the US Constitution upholding the rights of the American citizens against a tyrannical, out of control government.
Same here.
I support Snowden...I’m glad he told what he knew, about time someone tells the people something but bullchit all the time.
I hear tell that when Prince William and Kate were here in the U.S.A. in 2011, Bamaboy had their rooms bugged, had people watching their every move, and knew what they were doing and who they were talking to....wonder how the Queen feels about this....she doesn’t like Mrs bamaboy anyway, and the Prince and Kate did not invite them to the wedding...hummmm just wondering.....
I think Snowden is a putz.
Something feels very wrong about this guy.
He discredits the US but none of it sticks to Obama.
Hmmmm
Deep confliction!
I’m definitely not on the side of a government that believes storing all my data and tracking my every move is what the Founders of this nation intended.
I don’t know Snowden’s motivations, but so long as his actions are throwing wrenches into the NSA surveillance machine, he’s fine by me.
The side of truth, which is yet unknown
He chose the only option that guaranteed exposure and survival. When the government removes all avenues of whistleblowing, whistleblowers have no choice but to flee the country.
And he couldn’t very well run to an ally that would just turn him over to the criminal police state he just exposed. Nor could he trust the Congress critters easily blackmailed by the NSA into putting a knife in his back.
I consider Obama this nations enemy.
And just why is Russia our enemy? Because they actually look out for their best interests?
