Report: Russia Transferred S-300 Missiles Into Syria
INN ^ | September 10, 2013

Posted on 09/10/2013 5:33:26 AM PDT by Fennie

Russia has transferred several S-300 missile batteries into Syria, Kuwaiti newspaper Al Rai reported Tuesday. The transfers took place despite statements by Russian officials, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, that Russia would not provide Syria with the advanced anti-aircraft system.

Al Rai claimed that Syria has accelerated the rate at which it ships arms into Syria since the current crisis between Russia and the US began, when chemical weapons were allegedly used to kill over 1,000 civilians, on August 21.

The information was picked up by Voice of Israel public radio, which added that Russian ships are due to offload more military aid in the next few days.

Putin protects a type of Christianity that must be subservient to him. What Orthodox Christian leader in Russia opposes Putin or the Russian governments support for abortion? They cannot. Putin’s using Christianity; he’s not following it. And before you accuse me of supporting Obama, I’ll say the truth about him. He used Christianity and the weird Reverend Wright race-based church to fool foolish Christians. Putin and Obama have a lot more in common than many people want to admit.

Judging by the tone of your post, I’d guess you worship Putin. Just like Liberals won’t tolerate criticism of Obama, you apparently believe it’s wrong to criticize Putin. Putin puts dissident in prison for no good reason and assassinates political opponents. He supports and funds abortion.

"If this were a prize fight, Obama would be taking a standing 8 count while his corner is readying the towel toss."

If this were a prize fight, Obama would be in the showers with his bathhouse BFF/muzzies, and not in the ring.

Nobody here “likes” Putnin. In the face of a total media worship of everything Obama, what people want is some element of truth to reign and at this moment Putnin pierces the veil of deception over Obama that the corrupt MSM assiduously maintains for Obama.

Most have no illusion of who Putnin is, but we are sick and tired of Obama, and Clinton before him, getting away with any kind of illegal activity with absolutely no impunity because of the corrupt MSM. The same corrupt MSM that went after Bush with a vengeance each and every day he was in public office.

So yeah, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, however temporary and restrained that may be.

We’re not exactly pro-Putin here at FR. We know full well he is a KGB thug who regrets the fall of the USSR. He is also a Russian nationalist which is bad news for the West (Russians are proudly non-Western).

But, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” applies here. In 2016 Hillary, as a member of the same party as Obama, will have to run with, not against, her predecessor’s record. That’s already going to be a profoundly difficult task.

Putin is about to hand Obama his @ss over Syria. Bottom line. Let Hillary take that and run with it.

Then too, Putin is pro-Christian and anti-fag, so he can’t be all bad.

You know he’s a KGB thug. I’m not sure all of the posters do. I think it’s like praising Old Joe Stalin because he’s fighting Hitler. I won’t pretend either Putin or Obama is a Christian or a Conservative. If that upsets some, then fine.

Side note: the child like emperor pwince brak armed al-qeada via a fast & furious style gun running scheme via Libya.
He has been planning to get us involved in support of al-qeada no matter what since before Benghazi.
Wanting to see the child like emperor take a bruising has little to do with Assad or Putin.

We have no business being involved.
Period.

Obama may do something really stupid in Syria where Russian AA missiles are waiting for our aircraft, the lives of whose crews concern Obama not in the slightest.

If he does, Putin will administer serious beatdown on the Chicago manchild.

Well, the S300 systems would be the first to be destroyed starting with their radar support input.
There would be a lot of expensive Russian junk lying about, even if the Syrians had the manpower & infrastructure to quickly setup additional systems. -which I doubt

You are correct. There is a reason why the main radar is nicknamed Tomb Stone.

Putin is a sly leader and is dangerous...but like a stopped clock he is right on this one. Unfortunately, the fallout will be that the Russkies will be emboldened, and that does not bode well...esp. for eastern Europe. I think the freepers who admire him do so because he stands up to the fags and goatshaggers...but he will be a stronger tyrant thanks to Barry O’Carter.

Judging by the tone of your post, you could fool me.

I don't think that word means what you seem to think it means.

I don’t think anybody is actually pro Putin here, it’s more like, watching two enemies of the United States, one outside and one inside, go at it. The bigger threat is the enemy within, Obama. Watching him be humiliated by Putin and seeing his support in the MSM and liberal circles crumble can only be a good thing. Unfortunately though, Obama’s ineptitude and weakness puts us all in peril. Therefore what we are actually rooting for is the destruction of the Obama regime... and if that happens at the hands of the outside enemy, well, that’s Ok... To hell with Obama’s America... God save the Constitutional Republic!!

If there is one solid observation coming of this mid-east fiasco, its that virtually every other leader in the world has managed to out think, out maneuver, and totally disgrace the low IQ piece of excrement currently drawing flies in the White House. He’s so dumb even other Muslims can out do him. And what’s even more scary is that that “thing” is what liberals consider to be their best.

To me the most astounding thing is that "The One" and his supporters are so damned stupid that they not only don't realize this, but can't even see it when it is pointed out to them.

Serbs used an SA-3 to shootdown an F-117. Overconfidence in an SA-300 environment is a bad bad idea.

I know of no pro-Putin FReepers. Most, if not all here dislike the man and what he represents, but have healthy respect for his acumen and abilities as a leader of his country and a defender of his interests.

Which makes the game of compare and contrast with the current US administration somewhat unfair.
