In this age of instant everything, we tend to forget that politics isn't always about concrete, instantaneous results. It's about symbolism. It's about focusing the attention of people in order to educate them. It's about framing the issues properly, telling stories, and planting memes in public spaces, allowing them to spread like dandelion seeds on a passing breeze. That's how Americans were brainwashed into believing that Republicans are the "party of the rich" and gazillionaire George Soros's Democrats are the caring party of compassion.

Here’s an idea, cut funding for most Congressional staff. Make Congress actually do the work themselves, the laws would be a lot simpler.
This how the left has driven their agenda. They are masters of incramentalism. It's past time that conservatives learn to employ the same psychology in influencing opinion rather than laying all the cards out on the table and never deviating from them. Donthca know, only the elites are worthy of healthcare. They’re the ones who do the heavy thinking for us and therefore are entitled to the best there is. (No death panels for them.)
It’s the independent-minded types in flyover country who are expendable. “Ya’ know”, the ones who read the Bible, who love guns, who are racists and homophobes, who are Christians....that kind of neanderthal...those genetically inferior beings who exhale all that dangerous carbon dioxide and ride around in a pick-up trucks.....they’re the most dangerous and the most expendable.
