This is soooo simple. Get the dog to nip at some vet (what dog wouldn’t want to bite a vet ;-), take pictures, and then run with it.
leaving open air memorials open? $0.00, closing them? Incalculable...Does anyone remember the FEMA scare that was announced in August? The government control through 386,000 UN troops in America and the escalation was to begin October 1st? I didn’t pay a lot of attention to it, but with what is going on.........

I want to know why the Republican “Leadership” is not on every TV asking why Obama using GUARD DOGS to keep veterans away from open air memorials.

I know Congressman King is one of the good guys, but isn’t he being just a tad overly dramatic here?

The dog probably speaks German—the language used to train security dogs. If he gives you any trouble, yell “Platz!”—and he’ll lie down.
I don’t think they want to close the memorial.
I think they are afraid of the 60 ish year old men gathering there and talking about how wonderful the USA WAS. One of they might just have a flag patch, or an NRA sticker, or a cross or star of David. Then they’d have to use the dog.
Those pictured ‘public servants’ have no shame. It boggles my mind as a WWII vet that there are people in the USA who would sell their souls to go against veteran USA Americans. Persons with true USA blood would tie up their dogs and welcome remnants of the ‘true and brave’ to memorialize fallen military. How far the body of citizens of the USA has fallen that ‘pieces of silver’ give meaning to their lives.

....petulant little puppet man will have storm troopers out by the end of the week. Maybe he thought the hundreds of bikers who went today to support the WW2 vets at their memorial wouldn’t go to theirs on a beautiful afternoon...shame! Remember, this administration determined today’s returning troops a security threat.
Taunt them with cats.
The picture should have included the war memorial. All it shows is the guards and the dog standing by a pathway. This better not be King trying to pull a fast one.
