The fact that Illegal Aliens being called “immigrants” offends me...being an immigrant

I find nothing offensive with being honest.

Every illegal alien is a criminal...their mere presence my entering and/or staying here illegally is a crime. They, and their supports, actively support criminal activity

And, even more disgusting, some of these groups use racist names...like La Raza (The Race in Spanish). Some of these pro-illegal alien groups are outright racist and seditious

Its time to stop being concerned with the feelings of Illegal Aliens. Be more concerned with the lives of honest American citizens.

Please explain how anyone “deserves” to receive money taken by force from another. I assume you would balance your ledger by saying that I “deserve” to have my money taken.

To each according to his needs and from each according to his abilities, eh comrade?

So you believe that a government program that is paid for by forcibly extorting money from one group of people so as to give food to another group of people is Okey Dokey?

That is the correct answer. Other than from a moral stand point, should I be obligated to supply anyone elses "needs"

Nobody is "worthy" enough to have gov steal from me to provide for them and before anybody starts with the flames, they have no idea what I give to those I deem "needy". I do it voluntarily and could do even more, if the government would quit picking my pocket.

Based on reported numbers, the cut is only 6% of the total to the individual.

$636 given, $36 reduction = only 5.6% reduction

Trivial except to the politicians that crowed about implementing it as stimulous

The animals of which you speak are best described as ferals

When I and my cousins grew up in the SW, and my future in laws grew up in the Midwest, most of the males became good hunters.

Most of us were invited to hunt by the owners, ranchers, farmers and farmers in name because of the reputations of our older relatives/hunters.

Besides the normal safety requirements most of the land owners asked us to do one simple action. Shoot the stray animals we saw and to notify the property owners where we shot the strays, so they could bury them.

This was a system that worked well for the land owners and hunters. There was little if any need for an animal control officer outside the city limits.

Now we have feral dogs roaming cities like E St. Louis, Detroit and parts of LA county at night and day time.

Unfortunately, many of the so called humans in these areas could be labeled as feral.

“The conservative message should be we will eliminate fraud so that those that really need help will get it at a much lower cost to the taxpayers that pay for it.”

True. The incremental approach has served the left well, and we should use it.

A majority of illegals are on some kind of government dole—I don’t know how much one can exaggerate that.

Absolutely nobody sees those on SNAP buying the low-cost beans, rice, cabbage, low-cost meats, eggs, etc., that many of the working poor or temporarily unemployed go for rather than have their fellow Americans pay for more luxurious meals.

Howie Carr is writing in MA where the Democrat encouraged, supported and protected abuses are legendary—and true.

Full SNAP benefits even after the cuts from ‘stimulus’ levels are for more than what many people in a pinch get by on on their own.

The simple truth is that unless people make $12 to $25 an hour, depending upon their circumstances or where they live, they are better off not working at all, working part-time, or working for less than they could be making in order to get all the Section 8, fuel assistance, Obamaphones, welfare, SNAP, free healthcare, etc., etc., that the system otherwise pays them.

I grew up on a farm that welcomed certain hunters, but we never encouraged or would have permitted the shooting of what could be someone’s pets on the loose.

This entire region (the Northeast) is a regular importer of shelter animals from the South and the Midwest, where simple standards of neutering pets are regularly ignored and feral populations thus thrive.

...any establishment that also sells liquor or cigarettes

That excludes every grocery store I remember ever being in.

“NO!” to all your suggestions.

Open a soup kitchen in every block if need be.

The lazy jerks can work in it to feed their neighbors and themselves.

The "prize" for a non-citizen applying for benefits of any kind should be a one way ticket home. ANYwhere else!!!
