At least 28 Senate Democrats plan to spend hours Monday night and early Tuesday speaking on the Senate floor in a push for congressional action on climate change.
It's a strategy that's been in the works for several months, organized by Sens. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.), Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), who've been seeking to raise awareness about their concerns on and off the Senate floor.
Adopting a strategy used in the past year by some Senate Republicans, the Democrats will begin speaking Monday night after a series of votes and continue until about 9 a.m. Tuesday, according to Senate aides. The event will mark the third late-night Senate session of the past year, but the first prompted by Democrats. Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) led a filibuster last spring that lasted into the late-night hours, while Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) steered a 21-hour filibuster-style exchange before the government shutdown last fall

What about the geo-political climate in Crimea?
To: DallasBiff
How are they planning on changing the climate?
I’d like warmer winters and cooler summers.

I thought ALGORE was betting on “Global Warming”, not “climate change”...
Honestly, if he can’t get it right the first time, then how can I take him seriously now? The change in the story line requires that I am gullible, and that isn’t even taking into account the falsified data, and email leaks proving “Bad Science”...
Sorry, I am not that stupid/gullible.

Barbara Boxer should not be filibustering in the middle of the night. That poor dear needs her beauty sleep, and plenty of it.
More like a beauty coma, possibly a beauty vegetative state.

Lol.
Sorry about that.
I didn’t consider that angle.
I’d had a mental image of Reid getting his face wiped off by a polar bear wearing somebody else as a hat.

THey should be sued for all the carbon dioxide and ass-gas (methane) that they will release into the air.
Having all these Democrats in one place at one time prove one of Einstein’s lesser known theories - cesspools are living things.

From the article:
As for whether Senate Democrats would ever actually do something about climate change -- instead of just talking about it -- there currently is no piece of legislation expected to come up for debate soon on the Senate floor. It is unclear whether any such legislation would earn the 60 votes needed to proceed to debate and final passage.
So all this blovation is meant to accomplish exactly what?
Stupid RATS.

Meanwhile, as the Demagogic Party continues its demagogic ways, Venezuelans remain in rebellion against the Demwit's allied dictatorship; the Iranian mullahcracy continues to hurtle toward nuclear weapons; Russia is invading and occupying Ukraine; and other than a few representing areas with good-sized Jewish communities, the very same Demwits support the BDS astroturf 'movement', as well as illegals for household servants. Thanks DallasBiff.

Let me guess: they want to raise our taxes, take our freedom and spend record levels of debt to fix Global Warming, right?
